My Ftse 2015 prediction remains intact because the bulls
could not break out above 6600.

The first week of the year has left both bull and bear
counts and patterns in play in the US stock markets.

OE next week and EcB the week after then the Greek
        election the week after that.

We should have our breakout by end of January or
be stuck in a multi month range which could be
the best outcome for day traders.

        Never give up, never surrender.

Wow the login question is getting into the realms of advanced mathematics now, I had to solve +9 = eighteen, I managed it within a couple of minutes though. They must think I’m really intelligent now. Β πŸ™‚

Went in last week via the pension when the s&p was having its down day but pulled out 2-3 days later after it did 4-5%, keep thinking of dead cats…… I think it needs an ugly reversal day (hammer type).

This 7 year cycle could be nasty as it would trace back
to years like 2008 (credit crunch) and 2001 (911).

But maybe there is no 7 year cycle.

yes, and it wouldn’t surprise me if they even close the stock exchange like they did in 1914. Was closed for five months!!

alot of things suggesting we are v close to another decline. The margin debt chart is telling, being higher than in 2008 and 2000. A chart of higher highs……

The market seems to live in hope of the EcB meeting next week.

EcB talks tough re Greek elections will not alter anything we decide.

                              Couple of notes.
EcB has a habit of big talk little action.
How can the EcB not have one eye on the Greek elections because
some of the potential qe money may have to be kept in reserve
to prop up euroland banks if the Greeks do default etc.

EcB is nothing like the BoE BoJ Fed because they have a much
harder balancing act, trying to choose the right path for
many, independent countries. Hence traders have a much
tougher time trying to predict policy etc.
