Out of Ftse short at b/e so that’s me done today.
NFP friday 9th
OE friday 16th
EcB thursday 22ndLast new moon 22nd Dec a ‘h’ window
Last full moon 5th Jan a ‘l’ window
Next new moon 20th Jan a ‘?’ windowNever give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 08:25 #10679A Greek euro exit / default stirs very different views.
1) It could trigger another credit crunch.
2) EcB has is covered.Well our concern now is how will the markets want to position
themselves ahead of the Greek election. They may track the
opinion polls to measure the risk to some assets classes. If the EcB were forced to support the banks then that money
is not available to spend on getting the euroland economy
back on it’s feet.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 08:42 #10680My plan is do nothing until NFP and if the Ftse
gets above 6600 then I will enter a small short.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 09:24 #10682one characteristic of the last few years has been the lack of any backing & filling . up is up , down is down and it’s pretty much a straight line either way ( well mostly one way) above 2063/5 , then I think we easily see 2130 , maybe much more before a decent correction.
hit 2064 last night -lol . took a small short with a stop at 2067. 2065 seems the final lis to me , hence the very tight stop
January 9, 2015 at 10:15 #10683It looks like this market is very unsure about how major
events are going to play out this month. BoE minutes
show the credit crunch came without warning and to
me little has changed to prevent a repeat crunch
right out of a clear blue sky.Markets swing up and down using stop runs for fuel so
best to use smaller trade size and play larger moves
as this kind of market is here to stay, as there is
not a good reason to buy shares for value. It is
a day traders market and a false one at that.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 10:45 #10684My plan is do nothing until NFP and if the Ftse
gets above 6600 then I will enter a small short. If you look at a Ftse 1hr chart from last Sept and join
the highs and then join the lows, you get a wedge. Now the initial down leg was approx 850pts and being
a wedge which is contracting, we are inside it atm.If the next move is to touch the upper line then that
would be over 6700 and the lower line 6125 (today).
That is a huge risk to trade so my new plan is stay
out until I feel I know the odds of up or down.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 12:08 #10685Oscar bullish, will buy a dip today
January 9, 2015 at 12:22 #10686You’ve had a dip…. :p
January 9, 2015 at 12:41 #10687Here’s another…. 🙂
January 9, 2015 at 13:31 #10690There are a few US traders who want a dip today for a buy
into OE next friday.I would prefer a good US gap up then down.
Unless we do gap up on NFP I will start my weekend early.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 15:25 #10694US futs put on more steam, let’s see what rth does.
Euroland has been weak so far and only gave a slow
hand clap when NFP came out.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 16:01 #10696Back at lows now…
January 9, 2015 at 16:37 #10698Euroland taking a bigger dip as traders don’t want to hold
stock over a weekend that has ongoing terrorists at large.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2015 at 16:42 #10700That’s my trading closed for the week.
Have a great weekend kpaders.
Never give up, never surrender.

was spot on with the 2065 area . got lucky with the short last night , so taking 50% of it off here and will bank the rest if we slip further into the close . 2065 remains the area for bull/bear
