Closed the Dax short and Ftse short and most likely
will be happy to end the week positive and not
trade unless some really great trade appears.Never give up, never surrender.
January 30, 2015 at 09:23 #11596This volatility is just bonkers at the moment, it’s so wild, as for the dax I can’t actually believe how stubborn its being, it’s about time it did a gold south move π
nearly couldn’t get on the site today…. This one had me thinking hard π

a bit of weight to the unlikely US higher pattern that
I mentioned which would also benefit the Dax.All the alts are splat splat splat so it’s not a trade to be
taken without good risk management. Even more
so because of the weekend.Never give up, never surrender.
January 30, 2015 at 10:51 #11605Lol ark I’ve had. Problems getting in on occasion.. Lol
January 30, 2015 at 15:09 #11618US bulls best chance is to get shorts stacked and
then reverse all the way to the close, or atleast
print a hod in the last hour.IF IF IF this works then it would leave euroland
on the wrong side as they print a lod in line
with the US support. The alt is the US splats Dow s&p Nas
Lets see what happens.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 30, 2015 at 15:12 #11620IG are introducing Sunday trading!! Oh no!!!! The weekends have been ruined forever!!
January 30, 2015 at 16:31 #11624Well that US pullback for a rally is right on the bubble now.
I expected a pullback but that leaves the US bulls with a huge task,
almost so tough that if it happened we would name a day after it !I am still happy to bank January and think about February.
Goodluck to all kpaders still trading.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 30, 2015 at 17:06 #11626Let’s see….
got a long each from the -2 and -12 zone…. everything crossed!
January 30, 2015 at 18:08 #11627January 30, 2015 at 21:03 #11640right now that that’s all done, whats the dax gonna do, open +250 on MondayΒ !! its trying my patience…..
nice oil move today as a %
January 31, 2015 at 00:23 #11644Well could have closed at average break even or a touch profit but didn’t.
hedged longs at close with equal shorts different contract as don’t want to risk a weekend event. Would be wrong for me to be long if an event kicked off!!
have a great weekend all!
Dan.
January 31, 2015 at 08:25 #11645US ended in a splat and the xroads came at the rebound
to Dow 17400 (ooh Ftse 6800) when no more bull fuel
could be found. As per my plan I remained flat because there was not
really a point of entry for me, Missing a chance to
reshort at ooh Ftse 6800 was a mistake. How much
we find out at monday’s open.Never give up, never surrender.
January 31, 2015 at 08:27 #11646You’ll never catch all the fish in the pond cimac, sometimes life away from charts comes first :))
I’ve been watching your ooh / RTH trades with interest, been working really well this last week. Well done.
January 31, 2015 at 09:39 #11647Thanks Ark
I think we all have phases where we are in tune with the market
swings and one good trade blends into the next. However, we
all know the flipside of that πNever give up, never surrender.

The day the Swiss National Bank set the peg to the euro back in 2011 was the same day gold topped. Coincidence?
This guy speculates they have been shorting gold since, but perhaps realised a breakout was coming (Switzerland is hub for shifting gold), so desperately needed to cover. Undoing the peg did the trick for them.
An interesting read and some nice charts π
