It would be no surprise if stock markets end 2014 near current
levels or even higher with the tax issue in the US delaying
        any selling until January.

A good gap up on monday 29th December for the Dax looks
very likely as that market has been shut for the Santa.

        Never give up, never surrender.

My notes indicate US election years are bullish.

Also 2015 is a Red year which is one of the most bullish of the four
colour years but it does have a sharp drop in the October.

Gann has 2015 as a Panic year with 2016 as a low stock price year.

A mixed bag of seasonals then with US prices about to push for the
much talked of S&P 2100 and even Dow 20k

Those traders who are not currently in long or short positons(like me)
will have to start slow and only build once we get better signs of
where we should put our money.

            Never give up, never surrender.

Ftse gap up so I opened a small short.

To be honest I expected the Dax to give the best gap up.

We have low volumes and a few days until EOY so it is a
time for small size trades as this market has proven it
              never stops surprising.

              Never give up, never surrender.

The Athens stock market fell 7% as news of the vote sank in, with bank shares among the worst affected. Bank of Piraeus shares slumped 9%, after recovering from earlier record lows.

Allowing for the usual windows plus holiday down time
we can use the Ftse hod today as a test of both the
new moon and Bradley potential ‘h’ pt.

                  Hence my small Ftse short.

Greek vote is in February and if the leftwing get in then
they may want to rethink the bailout or just default.

Too far off for US markets to be kept off their course
of a nice ‘h’ at the year end. Even euroland stocks
may not care too much this month.

The odd gap up and drop then gap up again etc etc is
coming to many stock markets and this could be an
attempt to hide selling pressure. January remains
the bears best hope for a profit taking sell off.

                    Never give up, never surrender.

To a US Fund Manager who is focused on having a good EOY set
of stock valuations. The problems in euroland etc may just
seem like it’s all happening in a land far far away.

Negative thoughts that can wait for 2015 maybe and not to
get in the way of a s&p 2100 party 😉

US futs atm will test the Fund Managers desires but they
do have the big what-it’s vs the small time traders so
                        let’s see who wins.

It’s the very fact US futs are at their low point
for the past 24hrs that’s a warning to all.

If it’s a true vision of rth then bulls are done
and if it’s not then bears are done.

                            The bears made some profits.

I am out of my shorts now(oh la la) and will not trade again
until monday 5th January when all the EOY stuff is done.

after the Ftse bounced a bit I reopened a small short at 6551

Closed for 14pts profit but not sure it was the best trade
however you can’t say a profit is ever your worst trade 🙂

Now I am deffo out of here until monday.

Goldman Sachs gone up for eight months in a row now…..

                                  a curiousity that’s all…..

were at 90 in June 2012 and this month touched 200.

hit 50 in 2009 low after dropping from around 250.
