      Good timing cimac

glad I kept my powder dry today.

Dax was showing the way, then spx and now FTSE, which doesn’t really want to join the party with the vote going on.

if it a no vote we could see a jump up.

Spx could close above high today unless there is anything negative.

        Nice one 🙂

I do like a little fun trade.

So long as it’s not a boredom trade !

          Sounds like a plan Cimac.

took a little punt overnight short for 1 on spx and 6 FTSE.

Oscar has this breaking up iteresting charts.

I will be shorting but waiting for now.

If they like fed and Scotland vote “No” , that could be the push up it ends to break out of the ceiling.

Will only be short lived in any case in my view. I just think we will get the chance to short from higher.

Risk of buying is too great as it has much further to fall than it does to rise !

Agree with that paps.  If they vote yes then I think FTSE will tank

spx only 13 points off it high now !!!

Lol. I will be Cimac !

Will wait for now as if spx breaks above 1996 then it’s testing the high again.

FTSE is strongest of them all and held better than SPX and DAX.

OEX maybe a new high as USA. Probably doesn’t care about the Scottish vote.

Wow. SPX on drugs again with this push up.

Glad I closed as being short is soul destroying in this market. Drives me nuts.

Took a Dax long as Spx started up and just closed for quickest 50 pips in a long time.

                Flat now.

                  Hi all

Cimac, I like your comment earlier re closing a plan.  As I said, closed all my shorts on Friday to wait.

Sod’s law is it drops without me, but risk of higher seems greater and saps my enthusiasm !

US is still On steroids and spx went up 7 pips in about 25 mins around 7pm. Quick ramps like that say there are still buyers or supporters out there.

It would not surprise me at all to see this rise into OEX above 2000 again. If it does, I’ll be loading up again and FTSE/Dax also.

Should be down, but recent months show others have different ideas.

For those interested , check out BBC2 at 9pm. ‘Millions by the minute’ about hedge find traders in london, New York etc. looks interesting.

I’ve been sitting out with some shorts for a while. Doubled up near highs on Spx, FTSE and Dax.

Back in profit Friday so closed all for the weekend.

What usually happens now is it continues on down without me after I’ve been holding for ages  !

My hope is a rally back up to load up short again.

Dax, and in particular FTSE just wasn’t selling off when SPX was yesterday.

If they hold on Monday, it’s going back up again.

                      Hi K

Any views on longer term ? Ie more than 24 hrs lol !

This upside is getting boring and could do with some downside.

Oscar has this going back to a new high after testing moving average  last week.

I’m long overnight right now and looking for an up day.

                          Good luck.

                            Morning Cimac

That sounds like a plan. I’m long Dow from last night..

will close out later and re short FTSE if we get the bounce today.

                            Also long oil.

                              Hi Cimac

It’s been a good week so far. Rode the drop yesterday after some on Monday.

Then doubled up on new FTSE short and also spx

Currenlty +15 on Spx and +40 on FTSE.

Looking to close spx soon as closest gap is 1950 on charts.

ftse as you say, also is near that make or break point. May wait a little longer and see if it cracks.

Well done Cimac. Sounds like you had a good day yesterday 🙂

I took all profits on Friday before close and have been flat since.

Saves the overnight costs. Looking for a short but waiting for a pop first. FTSE is holding well and waiting for direction before jumping in.

Oscar is away this week but has it as a down week.
