      Hi billy

I have closed out my Ftse short and as you say s&p 1950
      is a watched level.

What kind of bounce we get, if we do, will indicate
      our next best entry points.

      Never give up, never surrender.

Dax is down 600pts from it’s peak !

Today lods, when they print, are an interesting bunch.

I expect ‘trap door to hell’ will get a mention soon.

Will be a teaser for overnight trades. I will be flat.

        Never give up, never surrender.

A night off for me and will want to let the Ftse settle
on friday morning before trading, maybe wait for 10:00.

Unless the US does a huge gap close while europe is on
it’s ooh quotes. Now that would be ideal for me but
          is a long (sic) shot.

Took a small short on the Ftse at 6725 as a guard against
a dive towards 6000 which could be hit in August based
            on previous Ftse drops.

I expect to add at higher prices, fwiw.

            Never give up, never surrender.

Closed for 10pts profit … the evening off seems
a better idea. Best done with no trades open 😉

After a good US down day, with a late lod, we have US data
at 13:30 and 15:00 and this could combine to give bulls a
chance to regain some ground, perhaps a good slice.

My plan re the Ftse is to wait for the expected rally to
run out of steam and re short it. Now as I think the US
will make or break the day, I will sit out europe in
the morning and maybe decide late afternoon.

                Never give up, never surrender.

                  Morning Cimac

That sounds like a plan. I’m long Dow from last night..

will close out later and re short FTSE if we get the bounce today.

                  Also long oil.

                    Hi Ian

Re the Ftse you can be a shorter, after a decent
drop, or a brave buyer. I may stay flat now and
                    look again on monday.

                    Never give up, never surrender.

                      Only for the brave.

Ftse could pause / bounce circa 6640 but if that
goes then next level would appear to be 6500

Looking at the continued slide in US markets, it
does appear more of a gamble than a trade.

Better to buy a lottery ticket, then atleast you
know what you’ve lost, right away. 🙂

Mentioned the Dax losing 600pts and now it’s nearer 800pts
and because the retrace down overlaps some waves up there
is a real chance of testing 9000 zone.

EcB and the qe package, where are you 😉

lol gekko – even a broken clock is right sometimes…

sort of hoping we revisit the o/night lows @ if we get there by 8pm ish , I might try a long for my lottery ticket & look for a last hr bounce ….

1910 cash looks like it might be tough to break & so only risking a few pts.

                                Well done guys.

Dax 9000 and Ftse 6500 look on to me in this move
but does not have to happen all in one day, imho.
