July 10, 2014 at 16:13 #6670Thanks Baaa always good to hear ur views.
Same to u cim.Good to know your still about.
Very interesting day so far. At one point it looked like the
bulls would try to prevent a close below Ftse 6700 which
is a must for bears, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
July 10, 2014 at 16:32 #6671Ftse bulls would want to keep any close below 6700 to a single day.
Dow 16800 looks like the level for a tug of war and here the bulls
would want a close above or just a single day below.Overall I fear this mon-thur action is not yet bearish enough.
Never give up, never surrender.
July 10, 2014 at 18:05 #6672Overall I fear this mon-thur action is not yet bearish enough.
To prevent the bulls from taking the helm again.
We should know friday, monday at the latest.
Never give up, never surrender.
July 11, 2014 at 12:30 #6679Slow day in europe and stocks not able to re-take Ftse 6700
and Dax 9700, closes above those levels needed by bulls.US may settle the deal later.
I will re short Cable at the levels given before.
Unless we get fireworks later, it’s a real summer market.
Never give up, never surrender.
July 11, 2014 at 14:00 #6680Europe in a downtrend cimac – states to follow if we break 1953
1929 or 1900 area will be LIS for a significant rally imoEurope does look broken atm or are traders trying to pressure the EcB
into QE action in a way we have seen US traders pressure the Fed.As I said re a rally, we should know today or monday at the latest.
Too near the weekend for me to open new trades so I remain flat.
Never give up, never surrender.
July 11, 2014 at 14:18 #6681The Dow archer is pulling back on his bow, will his arrow
shoot into the sky or will his string break 🙂 🙂Never give up, never surrender.
July 11, 2014 at 14:50 #6682A close below Dow 16800 is what the bears want. With europe weak
any close above 16800 would suit the bulls. Goodluck traders.Never give up, never surrender.
July 11, 2014 at 20:51 #6687Wow, what a tough call for the start of next week which
is not helped by the disconnect between europe and US.Tempted to take a small short on the NAS at 3901
Never give up, never surrender.
July 13, 2014 at 06:42 #6689Tempted to take a small short on the NAS at 3901
I did take the short, in part because I could not get a good entry
for a short of Ftse or Cable but still wanted something to get me
on the short side.Atm the big Bradley date on 7th July + / – the usual window has
to be chalked up as a high. The next big date is in November.Never give up, never surrender.
July 14, 2014 at 08:17 #6691Fwiw I have today as being a must close near the hod for
the Ftse and Dax. Close above 6700 & 9700 will still
leave them 300 below levels equiv to Dow 17000 as it
aims to close above that level again.Talk that friday OE will be on the up tick but let’s
not bet the farm on any outcome.Never give up, never surrender.
July 14, 2014 at 09:26 #6692My Nas short was stopped out, own fault as a tight stop.
Had a very good run recently so about time I was given
a reminder of the risks.I may re-enter Ftse in small incremental shorts soon
and that will remain my only interest into OE, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
July 14, 2014 at 14:06 #6693Europe in a downtrend cimac – states to follow if we break 1953. 1929 or 1900 area will be LIS for a significant rally imo
holding 1953 was the tell for the rally. if the US has resumed its uptrend , it’s not likely to be a long lasting affair and coincides with a 2/B in Europe
keep us all guessing as ever
July 14, 2014 at 14:39 #6694Ftse near to 50% retrace of the recent drop.
IF this is run up into OE then we are going a lot higher
in the US and a decent bit higher in europe.I maybe wrong but I had this week biased UDDUD which is
not inline with an up tick OE on friday.I will take incremental short Ftse entries starting at
the 6750 level, no advice etc.Never give up, never surrender.
