Small short Dow 17515
US ooh indicates a gap up but it will be into resistance
and there is also a chance we do not gap up in rth.Either way I like the odds of a profit, no advice etc.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 08:05 #11493Took the profit below Dow 17500 and now have a Ftse short at 6860
playing on that gap up and then I will go out and be back for
the FMOC action.Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 08:14 #11494I will take the 30pts and be happy with that.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 11:08 #11495took off more shorts & added to dax long. might be a bit bumpy todayΒ , but still a chance of new highs by Friday/Monday imo……
January 28, 2015 at 11:43 #11497Oscar agrees
January 28, 2015 at 12:20 #11498FMOC is often a 3 way move and why not this time with Ftse
and Dax and US majors at fish or cut bait levels.Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 12:46 #11499My girlfriend has another interesting trade, all ready in play.
It involves taking her normal size trade and dividing by five.
Short Ftse at big round numbers using the fifth size trades.
6800 6900 7000 7100 7200I have looked at the margin and drawdown if it goes to 7200
and she has the finances. I have suggested leaving the last
two 7100 7200 ie don’t place entry orders and then review
the situation if we get to 7000. Also it would be wise to
use trailing stops on open position( like 6800 ) even if
it does result in reopening trades if markets churn alot.No advice intended as your all capable of coming up with
your own barmy boffin plans πNever give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 13:03 #11500Who ya callin a barmy boffin?? Β π
January 28, 2015 at 13:05 #11501S&P and Dax been pushing up but FTSE didn’t really wanna follow
January 28, 2015 at 13:20 #11502Well she has excepted a modification which I think
is a safer trade setup because it has less risk.Still using fifth size trades.
Short 6800 ( in play now )
Short 7000
Short 7200
Keep the other two fifths as backup or day trades
as the market pans out over time.Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 13:41 #11503My plan is to trade the FMOC reaction which would
be made the sweeter if Ftse closed muted and then
the US takes off and gives me an ooh entry for a
short vs the close. IE like this morning I have
a gap between me and the rth open.Time for a walk as it’s cold but sunny.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 15:20 #11509BTFD? lol
January 28, 2015 at 18:10 #11518STFR more like π
Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 18:19 #11519I would prefer the initial FMOC reaction to be down then rally
into the close. That would get me short on the ooh Ftse for a
thursday gap up. Then we can have the final down move and
not stop π( just incase the stock market God is reading the kpad )
Never give up, never surrender.
January 28, 2015 at 19:11 #11521I’ll have some of that Cimac! π
