I would be more convinced that the Ftse can breakup
past 6900 and head for 7000-7200 if US markets get
up a head of steam and run for ath.Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 17:22 #11309Ftse big picture seems to depend on what you
make of the action in the 6000-6900 range.Bullish view is it’s a flat or 4th with a 5th
going to somewhere in the 7000-7200 range.Bearish view is the 5th truncated and a break
of 6000 is coming.Whatever we do now, in the end we should go
and retest 3500.Atm 2000 ‘h’ 2007 ‘h’ 2014 ‘h’ (maybe 2015)
and then the same drop giving a 7yr cycle. As we are day traders having the Ftse go
here or there is not the issue. We want
to just trade it for a profit.Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 18:06 #11310We got a dip out of the Ftse but it was modest.
Now as the Ftse and the Dax are holding their gains
is it possible the US markets will rally later and
give up very little into the close. If this happens then it’s a bad sign for bears as we
may get an up friday, with monday unknown as
the Greeks go to the polls. Ftse bulls may have a
go at 6900 tomorrow, something which is hard to
believe but here we are !!!Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 18:19 #11311Yep and at 6900, isn’t 7000 roundie just so close not to go for….
January 22, 2015 at 19:55 #11318Above 6900 I would look at the wave structure and try
to fine tune a level. The 7000-7200 range I worked
out a while back as a rough guide.Any traders who went home thinking a 6800 short was
a good idea will get a shock if the US does not do
a decent late drop. Ftse closed 6696 and if we do
gap up it will be more than I can remember in a
single week !Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 20:03 #11320The structure of the US majors charts looks iffy to
me or it could be due to all the gaps and swings.Bulls also need to trail their stops.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 20:18 #11327Blimey, it was only this morning that I made a few pts
from shorting the Ftse at 6740 !I have shorted Ftse at 6840 as surely a 44pt gap up
from the close gives me some leeway.Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2015 at 20:26 #11329It’ll be 6900 in an hour at this rate!!
January 22, 2015 at 20:29 #11330When would you expect 3500 ftse Cimac? Top to bottom in recent (tech bubble & 2007/8/9) major falls has been about a year and a half. I think this collapse when it finally arrives will make both of those look like a day out at the seaside. Just how far it stretches first..
January 22, 2015 at 20:42 #11332Yes Dan as a rough guide about the same amount of time.
It may not exceed the other falls as one pattern is it
completes a 5 wave flat from the 2000 high and we
then go back up to an even higher ath. This is for the Ftse.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2015 at 06:44 #11342I have shorted Ftse at 6840 as surely a 44pt gap up
from the close gives me some leeway.First things first a little profit for me 😉
Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2015 at 07:31 #11343The structure of the US majors charts looks iffy to
me or it could be due to all the gaps and swings.
Bulls also need to trail their stops.Bulls need to press higher and the bears need
to halt this rally right from the rth open.Ftse is simple 6900 is the line.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2015 at 08:28 #11346I am now going to wait until monday to trade because I want to
see if Ftse 6900 is tested and we have those Greek elections.I took my profit early and that seems like a good place to
stop for the weekend.Early doors the bulls have the ball in euroland and US ooh.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2015 at 08:35 #11347hedging my longs this morning and may end up a bit net short…surely got a -20 coming Monday/Tuesday….
January 23, 2015 at 08:49 #11348You have called it right so far well done.
Never give up, never surrender.
