April
January 20, 2015 at 15:16 #11175staying long spoos for now and short gold 1284. will stop much over 1300 though. might hedge the gap-up today looking for a fill and maybe one more dip before the ecb . can see much higher prices ahead for as long as spx 1988 holds.
got some value hedging the pop …but would prefer a bigger dip to 2002 min
January 20, 2015 at 15:58 #11180US bulls and euroland bulls could have an up day wednesday
and it may even be helped by the BoJ who after elections
have the mandate for more qe etc.Never give up, never surrender.
January 20, 2015 at 17:04 #11182The same model that gave me a Dow sell at 17600 is now indicating
that we (Dow) rally and join in with a euroland EcB hooyah.Timing is they converge at some pt on wednesday.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 20, 2015 at 17:32 #11183It shows a re-test of Dow 17600 !
Strange how these numbers once indicated come around
again, once strong bear then strong bull.I think baaa maybe onto something, who is that guy ?
Never give up, never surrender.
January 20, 2015 at 21:34 #11192Great call Baaa bounced massively from 2005. Was hoping it would stay around there and give me an entry but I missed it!..
January 21, 2015 at 07:42 #11194Another day another gap up for the Ftse, says ooh.
I am confused once again by US action but as it is not my
first choice to trade, brief moments of clarity are ok.Never give up, never surrender.
January 21, 2015 at 08:41 #11196FTSE in a world of it’s own. While other major indices decline the FTSE goes up !!
January 21, 2015 at 08:42 #11197Ftse has nosed above 6660 with the next possible target
circa 6680 and then 6770 and then 6902 if it wants.I will not be betting on how high it goes but if we do
get an EcB reaction that makes a valid pattern or a
valid count, I will dip my short toe in the water.Never give up, never surrender.
January 21, 2015 at 08:44 #11198FTSE in a world of it’s own. While other major indices decline the FTSE goes up !!
Shanghai went bonkers but as you say the other majors are subdued.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 21, 2015 at 08:52 #11199Nowotny says.
ECB does not expect deflation.
ECB doesn’t intend to distort a well functioning market. Those comments may explain the Dax weakness always to
assume traders understood the last comment !Never give up, never surrender.
January 21, 2015 at 09:16 #11200stopped on gold …bear case broken , so more likely it rallies more into 1350
January 21, 2015 at 11:00 #11206Ftse made a high in the last new moon window and a low
in the last full moon window.Today is the new moon so after some sort of reaction to
the EcB tomorrow we will be at a good time for a high.Never give up, never surrender.
January 21, 2015 at 11:58 #11209I wonder if they may announce a gold standard for the euro. Europe in total has as much if not more gold than America…. Perhaps that spooked the SNB. There again a gold standard suggests prudence and not the usual recklessness. Something doesn’t sit right with me about tomorrow. What time is it announced?
January 21, 2015 at 12:05 #11210with the much-anticipated ECB announcement just 24 hours away, none other than the ECB’s Ewald Nowotny threw a glass of cold water in the faces of algos everywhere when he said that tomorrow’s meeting will be interesting but one “shouldn’t get overexcited about it.”
