Well here is that dip.
I was really hoping for a good dip before next weeks OE
vix rising
Not to mention Tesla $ 1019 up from an intraday low of 353 on the 18th March.
Amazon , Apple MSFT at new highs.
Cant quite remember the .com bubble apart from making some money in obscure shares from a tips sheet and losing some of the gains after dip buying on the way down.
I hope the Spx and Dow do not try to play catch up with Ndx.
Who would like to hold now after seeing all of todays gains evaporate?
I would certainly want to sell rather than buy a dip now. In theory this should close at lows and go lower in AH session.
I have recently gone through a book call Trade Mindfully by Gary Dayton. Need to read it again.
Has helped my trading tremendously as I was far too impulsive , expected unrealistic returns and would hang on to losers.
Not sure if the video will play just look up on U tube. Should get to 3000 but cant say when.
There is from memory a target 2775 and one in the 2400’s .Sometimes they come in clusters .
AAAARRRRGGGHHHH I could scream. Sod it, I broke a rule there. My rules are that I cannot add to shorts within 10 points.. I could take a 3 point loss here but we are still in this 19:55/20:05 zone
Play the long game.
When the market fell from highs no one saw that and it took tike to turn . There should be some retrace:
Yes OK thanks Pritpal. Not trading much just waiting for a trading set up. Off for some exercise.
There is also a MEJT target Spx cash at 2768.31 from yesterday. No time limit so no guaratee it will hit today or anytime soon.
The last target of 2775.94 hit yesterday after it was generated on 22 April.
Still have Tuesday’s shorts , all in very nice profit on SPX, DAX, FTSE. Personally I still feel to early to close. Will see what happens around 6.30pm/7pm.
Thats great work!
My greatest weakness = lack of patience which I am mastering slowly . Happy to take 20-30 points against ST trend in these markets and not overtrade .
Pritpal there are 2 MEJT targets at 2804 and a further few lower. hang on with manageable stakes
Hi Cimac , That is the problem I have had over the past several decades . Trying to figure out how things fit. I missed the greatest bull run in my working life as I thought everything was too expensive. Most people (no one) can consistently time the markets and if the could why would they share that information?
I would love the market to go down into 2021 as I plan to invest in some Mega-themes/trends via trackers and hold for 10 or more years. Pound cost average and pay attention to asset allocation with some money in gold and perhaps 5% in bitcoin.
I recently read a book called how to own the world by Andrew Craig (£ 3.99 on Kindle) which explains how inflation will eat into our wealth.
