Very lucky of me to flip short the Dow trade. I thought I was in far too early but no, now have to manage the stop 🙂
That was short and sweet in both directions. Net gain +11pts Not a very productive day for me. The best has been to avoid any loss.

hi everyone i have been a member of khalsas pad since the MSN times i haven’t login for a long time i start larking recently. Nice to see they are still some active poster.
I haven’t be trading since the esm changed the rules i used to do quick scalps 1- 10 min
starting with ÂŁ50 making it 4K in 2 to 3 week and the blowing it on wild bets.
After 2009 i took a decision to bank some and i had been profitable ever since hence my advfn user name restart09.
New rules destroyed my style. Coupled with lack of time and i stopped trading just tried some position trading not very successful lol

Still have Tuesday’s shorts , all in very nice profit on SPX, DAX, FTSE.
Personally I still feel to early to close.

The tank was caused by Elon Musk who said his shares (Tesla) were too high.

My  greatest weakness = lack of patience which I am mastering slowly . Happy to take 20-30 points against ST trend in these markets and not overtrade .

Thanks Kapila. I think in my case I had a clear plan and I really was convinced the up was all nonsense. I stuck to that plan. I only took the profit becuase it hit 100 handles and I took the FTSE earleir becuase it was multiples of 100 points profit. You have to bank when you are running others in profit.
I also feel at the very minimum we go up into 6.15pm now.

So the FANG’s (and I have been going on and on about those) were far too ahead of themselves.
Amazon down near 7&, Apple down and Tesla down 10%.
It was a very stupid situation when the market was going up so wildly based on the FANG’s.

That’s awesome bro. Well done. My graph has mass gyrations both ways as I often run underwaters for a plan. The market does not always oblige the day I want it to and often I am 1 to 2 days early. If you read back this weeks thread you will get what I am saying and how I traded it and stuck to my plan.
