Khalsa its good to know I am not the only one busy being a dad!!
Our little one is 23 months now . Many mornings , evenings, weekends have been spent feeding (or rather trying to get M to eat), changing nappies, getting ready for nursery esp when the Mrs is at work. Also have to prepare evening meals sometimes , do the bath and put to sleep etc. Quite tough also with coughs and colds as the nursery will not look after if there is a temperature sickness etc. meaning taking time off work.However being a dad is wonderful. My daughter is definitely a daddys girl and clings to me whenever possible.
Watching markets from afar. I think a part of message got deleted. Volatilty is good and tempting. will see what happens. They always found a way to fool me after taking it down to go up with a vengance.No time to screen watch in the evening so only swings for me in very small size. etx allows 0.5 points on ftse ,dax and dow Dan or who ever asked recently.
Hi Khalsa, so happy to be watching from sidelines after recent loss in Dec OE / it may have been some other meeting. Will try to get back in when the time is right. Can’t manage work a baby and the market stress. I thought with talk of taper the market would start to roll over, but doesnt look that way.
Just goes to show there is no follow through to the down side.
By the way have you closed your spoos swings? says – shorts in spoos and 2 swing postitions open.
ig said prices were moving too fast . outside tloerance level. even they could not execute trades on futures market…… around 7pm time that is .
i guess i was trading in anger after that and lost any sort of discipline, deer stuck in headlights comes to mind.
yes with volatility there is usually a chance to get in and out quick. so annoyed that IG did not fill twice. I would have made good points but should have known better. hope BDIP offers a little downward pull before more up.
I am going to get out on a dip and take a loss and forget about the markets for a while. just too stressfull especially with family comitments and festive season coming up. Will see what systems have to say. amazing to see ndx spiked down to near 3430 now nearly 80 points up spoos up >40 from lows.
Hi folks. Been away from trading from the middle of the year. Thought I would have a go today. Tried to long on the fed dip with IG twice they did not fill. Tried a short scalp which has now turned into a swing and well out. completely out of touch and forgot its OE in 2 days.
Very annoyed as i have managed to keep myself out of trouble on the sidelines by just watching.
Sorry to hear zarif.so many robberies in London. Same nearly happened to us but wife was at home 2 years back. Thieves are so brazen nowadays even in daylight hours. We don’t keep any valuables at home . need an alarm, window locks CCTV if that way inclined.
