Well paps, there’s a thought.
Maybe I will tell her that I am feeling generous this
year and plan to buy her a new top and bottom ๐Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 10:13 #9123Roll on Christmas! The girls are in for a treat!
October 26, 2014 at 10:16 #9124Re that 6th November for a possible low.
I would extend that and say that I don’t like the
look of the first half of November and think that
the bulls will struggle to make any progressNever give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 10:18 #9125Well paps, thereโs a thought.
Maybe I will tell her that I am feeling generous this
year and plan to buy her a new top and bottom ๐But you never can tell with women as she is just as likely
to slap my face and say. “Whats wrong with my body !!!! “.Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 11:36 #9126I was always taught to get off at the top and get in at the bottom…..
I was gonna say I prefer candles, but that sounds even worse….
Have a good sunday!!
October 26, 2014 at 12:51 #9127Interesting read….. Italy really is flying below the radar….or was !
October 26, 2014 at 12:52 #9128“Twenty four European banks have failed stress tests of their finances, the
European Banking Authority has announced. The banks now have nine
months to shore up their finances or risk being shut down.
They include nine Italian banks, three Greek banks and three Cypriot banks”.To me this seems as expected and I always doubted the tests would be set
so tough as to cause any panics. Waste of time paper exercise but when
they do fail I expect this report will have been quietly buried ๐Never give up, never surrender.

Otherwise they would be laughed out for having brushed aside any problems.
October 26, 2014 at 13:11 #9132In the 2011 EU bank stress tests there were 20 banks which failed
but then they sort of fudged it down to 16 and then 8 failures.Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 13:14 #9133What I found quite interesting in the news related pieces was this bit….
As part of the exercise, the ECB also reviewed the quality of bank assets to determine whether they were accurately valued. That process resulted in banks being forced to reduce the value of their assets by a total of โฌ48 billion, the ECB said. The central bank also identified a total of โฌ136 billion of troubled assets, known as non-performing exposures, sitting on the balance sheets of the eurozone banks.
who knows how the markets will react, maybe it’s already priced in !.? ย So can the dead cat turn down again now ? ๐
October 26, 2014 at 13:43 #9134Italy and indeed France are often mentioned as potential
weak links compared with the UK.But I would point out that they both produce a lot of
food and wine and cars.I think it’s the inter relationship of countries that
is their weak link.Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 13:58 #9135Currently forty of the banks tested would not meet the new 7%
threshold which will be the international standard in 2018 !I think that we would see some UK banks in that list of 40.
eg: in this test Lloyds came in at 6.2%Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 14:38 #9136My view that these stress tests have been set so as not to have
too many failures, I will explain like this.Imagine other fields of safety. When would we get a safe figure
today of 5.5 knowing that in 2018 it will be 7.0 … the word
that springs to mind is compromise ie we set today’s figure
at what we think can be achieved, not at what is needed.Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2014 at 15:36 #9137Analysts said the results of the tests were much as expected. “The first impression is that there are few surprises,” said Max Anderl of UBS Global Asset Management.
