Well we have calls for the tops in and calls for new highs.
To me a retest of Ftse 6000 would settle this discussion but
so far we have not seen the 100pt gap downs one would
expect if we were to hit this pt in the first half of October
ie my prefered timeframe.Quotes show we rally today atleast at the start so let’s put
our sandline at lastweeks Ftse low and use as to help
indicate if the drop is done.Big IF but if we were to rally, with legs, then it is still
possible the EcB have a hand in this via QE.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 09:43 #8314Ftse move up is weak so far and so it would be no surprise
to go lower either late today or early doors thursday and
after that the bulls get their next chance, imho.So risks remain elevated as a lot rides on these moves
and bearing this in mind I will stay flat.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 09:57 #8315In Washington on thursday and friday we have a few Fed members
speaking about current policy etc. They are joined by some
other central bankers including the EcB chief who will
give a speech on thursday at 16:00 (15:00 GMT).I wonder if the market will listen with great interest for
any hints. Maybe we should.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 10:08 #8316I think the main stock markets in Germany France Italy are
looking at the next support, the early Aug 2014 lows. This in turn is going to pressure the EcB to walk the walk
re it’s QE plans, the talk the talk phase is over.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 16:45 #8323Full moon today … a window when stock markets are more
likely to make a low. A new moon window is thought to be
when stock markets make a high. It’s more complex than
that, hence inversions. However when dealing with FX pairs that all begins to
be much more complex. I tend to look at charts with
a view to seeing if there are grounds to suspect
that the odds of a cit are good, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 17:05 #8324Mucho volatility today, FTSE = yoyo
October 8, 2014 at 17:16 #8325As it tests former resistance circa 1.27 the eur:usd could be
worth a look as we know any EcB qe extentions would
tend to trash the euro. Just a thought.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 18:54 #8327US retested lastweeks low to give dip buyers a second chance
so what happens next could be very interesting.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 19:12 #8329US retested lastweeks low to give dip buyers a second chance
so what happens next could be very interesting.hooyah !
Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 19:45 #8332Ftse short 6534 and Cable short 1.61642 and Euro short 1.27408
All small positional trades which I will hold for sometime and
it’s possible that will be into 2015, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 20:04 #8334As for the smaller timeframe trades I am not doing
any until I have redone my chart work as it’s all
changed quite a bit after those moves.Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 20:28 #8340Cashed in the Cable and Euro short, I will eat well tomorrow 🙂
Ftse short will be underwater tomorrow so that I hold for a while.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 20:39 #8344Dramatic as that move seemed while trading it. Due to the recent falls
in stocks and the rise of the greenback, not much has changed, yet.US markets retesting lastweeks low is the standout feature, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 8, 2014 at 20:55 #8346Cable and Euro have rallied yet again but I will not
get back in short. Time to turn off the PC.Never give up, never surrender.
October 9, 2014 at 06:20 #8352Just the small Ftse short from 6534 for me atm.
European trade should be interesting today and I expect
to be busy this morning, most likely into the US close. Was the US rally just a lot of hot air. We should find
out today.Never give up, never surrender.
