SPX: here’s a chart updated with STD. I believe today is ‘day 3’.
I’m pretty sure that SPX and Dow want to make triangles here, and the targets on SPX are the two gaps and overlap.
However, it didn’t make the ‘perfect target of 3153’ and the subsequent decline was wishy-washy and reluctant. This might mean that 3153 still beckons and SPX is trying for some sort of 4th wave. On the other hand it might have simply failed to achieve the target and already be in wave ‘c’ down.

Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 09:12 #28530I am thinking about shorting eur:gbp nearer the UK election.
At some point it should revisit the 2016 Brexit vote price.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 10:09 #28531SPX first target gap fill and overlap is at 3120.
December 10, 2019 at 10:14 #28532I will be alert to move stops on my Dow shorts next week
as a real tug-of-war could erupt.Could be a ‘V’ shaped week.
Looks like we are underway for the possible ‘V’ shape week.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 10:19 #28533Small short Dow at 27850 … stop 31500 … limit 27000 ( x 2 )
I am will hold into next week’s mid week drop.
Happy to close at 27780
I thought this would be a loser hence the happiness.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 13:25 #28534With my first of three Christmas dinners / parties
this weekend and all the preparation etc.
It’s time for me to slow the trading and complete
my timing project so that I can be all set for
the first full week of trading in January. Most likely I will trade FMOC and UK election
but with small trades only.My ideal scenario is the US markets hit new aths
in January because that would be easier for me.Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 14:35 #28535Dow futures have run the long stops into the ground.
Then reversed in dramatic fashion.
I was expecting a ‘V’ shaped week not a ‘V’ shaped day !
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 14:46 #28536Leaving aside US futures …
Ftse and Dax cash has been the big ‘V’
Begs the ? what about US cash … answers on a post card !
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 15:47 #28537I have a matched pair for FMOC 3 way moves.
…
Small short Dow at 27950
…
Small long Dow at 27850Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 16:56 #28538Dow was S2H ‘normal’ (bearish) monday.
S3H tuesday but what type is the ?
Looks right … spill down to complete S2H monday.
Up into pt5 S3H tuesday.
What happens at 27950 could be worth watching.
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 21:12 #28539Small short gbp:usd at 1.32 … stop tba … limit tba ( x 2 )
Never give up, never surrender.
December 10, 2019 at 22:27 #28540GBPUSD hit the 1.32 target (as you know). I am small short at 1.318. Small because of potential volatility over election day.
If it exceeds 1.32 by even a modest amount (say 0.05) then my count is up the swanny and something more bullish will be developing.
The ‘five’ count suggested 1.32 for W3 followed by 1.29 for W4.
December 10, 2019 at 23:29 #28541GBPUSD: there is support at 1.31. Below that 1.30. Round numbers.
