Dow: need to be careful here – if it wants to, the Dow can/might suddenly shoot upwards to the 28,000 area over the next two to three trading days.

      Good call !

Timing model indicates the fuel runs dry after 8pm gmt
so I do not expect the Dow to close at the hod.

DOW:  you might be wondering why/how I suggested that possible ramp upwards to 28,000.  I realised that we might be in a triangle, hence the call.

Originally in my ‘extended five waves up’ chart I had/have 28,584 as my wave 3 target.  I also had/have around 27,679 as a possible wave (iv).

If we look at the plunge (845 points) and then add that to my 27,679 wave (iv) we get almost exactly the 28,584 target.

When triangles form, often the first sharp drop (the base) is eventually equal to the subsequent move after the triangle has finished – and in this case that equates to the wave 3 28,584 target.

            So it might be bullish.

On the other hand, a triangle here followed by a downwards drop can give the 27,000 area as a target.

So I think we are in a triangle.  Whether that resolves downwards or upwards remains to be seen.

SPX appears to be the cleanest count.  You can see from the chart that we had a ‘three down’ follwed by a ‘three up’ which strongly suggests that a triangle or flat is forming.

In the current rise C=A at 3153, so very slightly higher than Friday’s close.

If the triangle idea is correct, SPX should fall at least to overlap 3120 and possibly to close the gap at 3095.

I’ll be looking to short SPX Monday.

I will be alert to move stops on my Dow shorts next week
as a real tug-of-war could erupt.

Could be a ‘V’ shaped week.

My timing project can be used in many ways.

Monday should be S2H ( if no flip from Sunday S1 ).

                    My Ftse timings do indicate an ‘h’ for pt3 ( S2H ).

Not due for release until early 2020 so any kind
                    of extrapolation is very experimental.
                    Still it keeps me amused.

                        IF that was Ftse pt3 (h) then it’s S2H … bearish.

Ftse call was correct… in the 1st instance.

Dow timings look the reverse with a ‘h’ in
                          the 20:00 gmt window.

It’s all a bit ping pong with no new direction.

SPX didn’t reach my target of 3153 so I don’t have a position.  It might have peaked and now be in ‘c’ down of the potential triangle.  OR, it might be consolidating prior to a small pop upwards to that 3153 target area.  It wouldn’t surprise me to see a sudden drop lower to fill the gaps.

GBPUSD is faltering in the 1.315 area.  Possibly forming some sort of 4th wave (of 3) prior to a pop upwards to the 1.32 target.

I think this is a ‘better to travel than to arrive’ situation and I am looking to go short as near as possible to 1.32 for a return to the 1.29 area.

Very likely that extreme volatility will be seen on election day when the first results come in.  Watching to see if the conservative lead isn’t as big as many pundits think at the moment.  A potentially highly volatile moment coming – I’ll try to grab my short then close my eyes (and ears).
