I still don’t have any position in this market. I’m not a day trader, more a position person. I think it needs to go higher before we get a swing lower.
I am thinking of going to Mallorca and buying a yacht. I’ve never sailed a yacht but I have a deep affinity with the sea. I think living on a yacht in my old age might be a good thing – the freedom of the sea etc. There are lots of sailing schools in Palma where I can get my Captain’s Certificate. A 44ft boat doesn’t cost much these days and I rather fancy being a ‘pirate of the Mediterranean’.

Yesterday my brother had heart surgery to install a stent in a clogged artery. He is 60, I am 63. He’s a nice person. Unfortunately one never knows when life comes to an end. I hope I have another 20 or 30 years before I kick the bucket, but one can never be sure of what life has in store.
Interestingly, his stent has some sort of wi-fi thing that sends messages to the hospital. I don’t understand this technology, but presumably it’s something that will alert the doctors to any problems.
