Dow: one of my targets was/is 27550, which the Dow hit exactly. Higher targets are up to 27,606. However a problem here is that spx hasn’t hit my target area of 3090/3105. This might indicate that the Dow has further upside.

I don’t have any targets above 27,606 for this move.  I’m waiting to see what develops.

Dax is the main Dow futures mover this morning.

Dow cash market should be fun.

Mid november looking interesting for a cit( of sorts ).

My ath for the Dow was 27650 in mid october
and we have blown through both.

I read many commentaries and no one has this
action in both time and price.

Mid november for a cit ( of sorts ) is still valid.

Ath above 28000 is still valid.

Other than those two we are in uncharted waters
and may fall off the end of the world !

For the Dow I will stick with
            S1L wednesday
            S2H today

IF that is a normal S2H today then we are near the hod
            which should be 27700 – 27750

With this market it’s a best guess scenario and if you
short Dow 27700 is has to be small lot size, if you
            like your shirt !

            Never give up, never surrender.

SPX has entered my target area of 3090/3105.  I can’t remember how I got those numbers (!) so it’s time for a review.

Yes, nobody was expecting this Dow move and thank goodness I chose to stand aside and wait.

Next Bradley date is Nov 11 (which might of course be nonsense).

Bradley dates on mondays or fridays are tricky.

DOW:  it’s clear there’s another five waves up in progress.  If this is all part of the bigger five there’s a target in the 27,800 area (or just below).  This *could* be the 5th wave (of five) in which case the market *might* decline to support at 27,550 or so in due course.

Need to look at this in the bigger picture.

I believe today is ‘day 2’ and ‘day 3’ tomorrow, so perhaps tomorrow will present an opportunity.

Fear/greed index is through the roof.

Yes there is a time and price for a ‘h’ soon.

It is possible traders will see 28000 on the horizon
and the market will under shoot. These traps work
best with a gap down monday perhaps after some
                      bad news over the weekend.

I think the US decides on tariffs on German cars
and other EU products around mid november.

Even I am now thinking an ath a la 2007 is off the table.

I still day trade and use ALL profits to close shorts
and move my Dow short entry higher and higher.

What an effort this has been. I wonder why I bother.

Currently my entry is short Dow 27730

DOW:  need to be very careful here.  There’s one argument that says around 27,800 could be ‘the top’, but an alternative view that this is a much bigger five wave advance to a much higher area.  See chart.

                            Of these three trades

                            set one stop at b/e
set the other two at 27700

I may see all three closed today but I can always
re open them ahead of the weekend when I want
to hold atleast one small Dow short.

DOW:  need to be cautious here.  One interpretation of the action is that we are in the first part of a rising wedge to 35,000 as an ABC.

On the chart the action looks like a first rise followed by a triangle (B wave) and we are now on ‘C’ upwards which could be a ‘five’ to the 29,800 area.

I’m not say’in this is going to happen, just a warning that ‘something is going on’ that looks very much like five wave action.
