Prepared for a sizeable overshoot of the wedge boundarys.just thinking aloud.hope your all keeping safe.
March 24, 2020 at 13:59 #29392I have Dow S4H … should spill down at some point.
Maybe a gap up, decline, then the run at 20000
Could all get frantic with ‘limit’ breaks.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 24, 2020 at 14:05 #29393Ok,30 minute channel showing 2360-2315 currently, lets see how it pans out at the opening.
March 24, 2020 at 14:13 #29394Ftse and Dax are coming again signal S4H.
It’s a waste of time trying to keep the US
genie in the bottle.Never give up, never surrender.

Futures limit breaks just clouds the issue.
A pain if your in a US trade when ‘limit’ kicks in
because you have no idea where it could restart !Never give up, never surrender.
March 24, 2020 at 14:23 #29396Dow … a sell above 20100 and a buy below 19400
Even then the order those prices are hit would
make a huge difference to the risk.I may dip the toe later … no hurry.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 24, 2020 at 14:32 #29397Off and running Dow at 19750 … mid range
I see this as a mini 3 way
1) Gap up
2) Spill down
3) Rally to test the zoneAll moves larger than if the market was just set free.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 24, 2020 at 16:50 #29398Good afternoon all,
massive well done to Cimac for keeping this going on the free side. All is well my end. I am in self isolation for the last week and hope I can share some trading snippets here whilst at home.
The market is currently in runaway mode. So far every day it’s been “short the rallies” but today that is not working as they are anticipating a fiscal deal in the US.
Figures are due out shortly on the spreading of COVID19 in all countries. India has just gone on lockdown.
I personally am going short here today now at 2391 on ES June and Dax June at 9473.
I feel that at some point today it will sell off. I am only looking for around 30 points on ES and 80 on DAX at this stage.
I may move the limits if negative news starts to flow.
This is far from over. The end is still not in sight in Europe and the US.

March 24, 2020 at 16:51 #29400Most of all sorry I missed it, please everyone stay safe. Avoid going out if you can. I have alot of friends abroad and it is truly horrific. Please look after yourself and your family.
God bless everyone

Given the fact that the news cases have not peaked worldwide (and to a certain extent alot of countries are on lockdown), I feel these are rallies to short.
Today’s rally is about the impending deal, which should be announced later. The damage done to earnings is not resolvable by monetary action. Hence the fiscal action but in this case it will make little difference. That leave the trillions they are pumping in to support the markets …..

March 24, 2020 at 20:50 #29408Yep, rallies to short. And I agree that monetary stimulus cannot solve this problem. However, remember the classic advice – “buy when blood is on the streets”.
Hope you and your family are healthy and well, Pritpal.
Are you still doing your probation volunteer service?
March 28, 2020 at 12:34 #29414I am so sorry for the outage here last few days. It was all my fault. As I came back here to post, I thought I would make some improvements and started tinkering. I then broke the site :(. After that I was at the mercy of the numpties at the webhosts. Absolutely useless.
Anyway I have managed to get it restored now to the morning of where I broke it.
Apologies and more tinkering from me.

March 28, 2020 at 12:36 #29415Long story David. All is great. I sold my business and then expanded my charitable organisation for feeding the homeless and needy. Last year I won the Queen’s award, something which I really am proud of for all the great volunteers and donors.
As for the prison service, started volunteering there an have now ended up as a manager of one of the largest C Cat prisons. I only plan to do it for a bit longer and then come back to my passion of trading.
Hope all is well with you. How is Covid19 affecting you all?
