GBPEUR: I’ve mentioned many times the possibility of a long term target at 1:1 parity and I’ve assumed that target might take a year or two to develop, certainly the rest of this year leading towards the end of transition and difficult trade talks etc.
I haven’t seen much news recently that might affect the Pound, so it’s rather a surprise to see how it’s crumbled against the Euro. Nearly 1.21 recently, now nearly 1.14, a drop of 5.7% for reasons I cannot explain.
