“I suspect in the next year or two we will see some kind of major, major problems in the world financial markets. I would suspect when we have this correction, it’s going to cause central banks to panic… they will print and spend and borrow, but there comes a time when people are just going to say ‘We don’t want to play this game anymore’. And at that point, the world has serious, serious problems because there’s nothing to rescue us. I suspect the next economic/financial collapse will be the one they can’t deal with.”
Jim Rogers
I’m on the same page…
June 21, 2015 at 22:18 #14443Since the credit crunch or whatever name you like to call
it most of the major countries are bankrupt, by the terms
we used to measure such things. Whilst the people still
believe in their leaders, electronic money creation
or qe, then financial life continues. It is hard to
know when this belief will end.Never give up, never surrender.
June 21, 2015 at 22:24 #14445Market analysis takes up a lot of my time but I do not
need trading profits to live. So I suppose you could
say it’s a project or a hobby. With this circus playing out in the eurozone, I am
very glad that I can take time off, until some
sort of deal or no deal is known.Never give up, never surrender.
June 21, 2015 at 22:36 #14446An outright default would be rather stunning I think…. Let’s see what the idiots try and cobble together….
June 22, 2015 at 06:02 #14451Greek reps will not make public their new proposals because
they fear a backlash from their people / voters.
EcB will not make public how much it has cost to prop up the
Greek banks because they fear a people / voters backlash.Failure is not an option ?
Correct, the euroland experiment has already failed.Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 07:36 #14453Euroland futures predict an rth bear trap vs friday close.
With German banks exposed to Greece you would expect the Dax to
lead the way, on any sniff of a deal.Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 09:31 #14456The 20th cit is live as today we are still in the window.
After this we have EOM (q2) (half year) book rebalance.
Then new moon on 16th July which is also the next Bradley date.Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 13:57 #14458I suppose they are expecting a deal to be done….
June 22, 2015 at 15:49 #14467I suppose they are expecting a deal to be done….
Looks like it … maybe a can kicker into January 2016
Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 16:03 #14468I think some of the old rules still work best…eg
You take the friday close + monday close, then subtract the tuesday close
and compare that to the friday close. It’s a way to measure if a move is
real or just a day tripper.I think atm that number will be +ve vs the friday close, hence real.
Suns out in the South West and you can take that to the bank 🙂
Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 16:57 #14470June 22, 2015 at 19:06 #14473Ftse closed at 6826 which is a hefty premium above the friday
close, on just the hope of a deal, later this week.Let’s see how much the bears manage to nibble on tuesday 😉
Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 20:16 #14476Looking at which stock markets are attempting to make
new June highs. Ftse is being left well behind.Never give up, never surrender.
June 22, 2015 at 23:08 #14482If they calculated inflation the same way as they did in 1980, then inflation would be 9% and not 2%. They have altered the calculation twice. This is for America but likely similar here in The UK.
June 23, 2015 at 08:13 #14485Dan, humans evolve.
Hence when leaders see how we react to the constant data we are fed
everyday, they change the rules so we get a nice warm feeling.Never give up, never surrender.
