Here is a good tip.
If you can’t make a date with your ‘other’, then just say …
… “I had a late night with a Kreemorian fangor beast.”It works for me 😉
Never give up, never surrender.
June 17, 2015 at 19:20 #14321FMOC data etc … general impression is 0.25% rate hikes, maybe
two in 2015 at most. But Sept 2015 and Jan 2016 is my guess.Keeping a steady US ship seems the message.
No surprises thus far, press conference to come, it would be
strange if the words are not inline with the data etc.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 08:35 #14337Fed three way move.
Euroland stocks have adjusted, ie 3 way done.
US stocks need the drop(3rd way) with futures already showing.Seasonal factors still favour GBP but 1.5868 would seem a bit
too high so I favour a drop back below 1.58 as it’s 3rd way.I am out today, so no trading whilst away from screens.
Eurogroup meets today, Greece in focus.
Quad oe friday, how are the players placed, let’s see.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 13:07 #14338for the bugs here …..long platinum from the 1080’s . It’s been leading the other precious metals & looks to me like we could have put in a medium term low last few days . wrong much below 1070 so I deemed risk/reward was decent.
not sure about gold as the pattern suggests one more low – which would be unsurprising given how plat has been leading.
June 18, 2015 at 16:19 #14351Small short Dow at 18142 even though it’s a bit risky so
near quad oe but then it’s all a risk, all of the time.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 16:38 #14353Well against the odds, as they looked last week the US bulls
have got through, new moon, FMOC, Greek deal or no deal, to
get an uptick quad oe. I expect they wanted a new ath but
have had to settle for a lower high. The question is will
it turn out to be a last chance before summer high. Some people have saturday 20th June as a cit with a note
of caution incase the actual trading day is monday 22nd.I agree with this potential for a cit, hence the small
Dow short but please note my stop is 18900. This is
a postional trade that I would like to run in the
background during summer, holiday, play days 😉Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 16:57 #14354Re the Greek deal or no deal, we all know this is a can kicker
with leaders praying they don’t find a drain down the road
whilst they are in power.A very short hair cut and yet more money is required to try
and fund a sea change in that countries fortunes. It is
hard to see the EcB / IMF agreeing to this with much
larger poor EU members and their voters, watching.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 17:05 #14355Investors(sic) are wondering what the QE exit plan is and
when do we get ‘normal’ inflation and interest rates.Money has been diverted into stocks to try and earn a
return on capital. Once it is possible to get a safe
return from bonds. You can bet money will exit the
stock markets and return to a lower risk profile.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 19:47 #14379ECB unsure if Greek banks could open Monday. – Reuters
I guess they are saying, if there is no deal before monday.
Due to the reaction of a deal or no deal I am having second
thoughts of holding any position, however small, until we
know the outcome of something which could make markets
go bananas. I will stay flat as otherwise it’s more
of a 50-50 bet re getting on the right train.Never give up, never surrender.
June 18, 2015 at 20:19 #14380Large trades, overnight trades, weekend trades.
All too much risk when we have to trade against algo’s, vested interest,
central banks who can create unlimited electronic funds.
Markets that glitch and only let you back in to count the loss.
When we know of some event lurking, which could trigger a large move
in either direction(worse than trading FMOC etc).Get this known event out of the way and it will feel a bit safer.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 19, 2015 at 06:37 #14385Ok for those left standing and can tolerate risk.
We have quad oe today.
Eurogroup meeting monday.Aided by central banks the bulls have had a good week
but now face another potential cit circa 20th June but
if they clear this then that analysis I did of the
most bullish Ftse to circa 7400 could play out.Taking both sides of the analysis onboard it
seems small day trades only for now.Never give up, never surrender.
June 19, 2015 at 11:37 #14392Baaa u got a decent bounce yesterday… but OSCAR doesnt think it will last.

June 20, 2015 at 13:04 #14439Yet again we are looking forward to a difficult week which could
start with more news or no news re Greek banks and finances.Bulls have got through Bradley date, new moon, FMOC, quad oe.
What next. Maybe a big move to confirm a cit or rally up in a
final push to new ath’s for most stock markets.Safer to trade the reaction than guess the direction.
Never give up, never surrender.
June 20, 2015 at 14:08 #14440From BBC
A Greek minister has said new proposals will be put to creditors ahead of an emergency EU summit planned for Monday.
State Minister Alekos Flambouraris also told Greek media he believed the European Central Bank would not allow Greece’s banks to collapse.
Reports say billions of euros have been withdrawn from Greek banks in the past week.
The summit comes amid attempts to prevent Greece defaulting on a €1.6bn (£1.1bn) IMF loan repayment.
The European Commission, the IMF and the ECB are unwilling to unlock bailout funds until Greece agrees to reforms.
They want Greece to implement a series of economic changes in areas such as pensions, VAT and on the budget surplus before releasing €7.2bn of funds, which have been delayed since February.
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has said he believes “there will be a solution based on respecting EU rules and democracy which would allow Greece to return to growth in the euro”.
But German Chancellor Angela Merkel has warned there must be a deal between Greece and its creditors ahead of Monday’s summit.
Otherwise, she said, the summit would not be able to make any decision.June 21, 2015 at 13:42 #14441Some good analysis out there this weekend which indicates
we should crank down hard. As always when this type of
thing fails, it fails big.As per my plan, no open trades for me this weekend.
Never give up, never surrender.
