Ftse short at 5930
If a profit is possible within the first hour then I will
take it and look for a higher entry point late today.A lot hangs on which side of friday’s close the cash
market wants to play, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
January 25, 2016 at 07:32 #20465Ftse short at 5930
Closed at 5925
I may regret it but it’s in the bag for a good
small start to the new week.Never give up, never surrender.
January 25, 2016 at 11:30 #20468Russia’s economy contracted by 3.7% in 2015, according to preliminary
figures published by the country’s statistics service.Retail sales plunged by 10% and capital investment fell by 8.4% in the
economy’s worst performance since 2009.source bbc http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-35398423
Never give up, never surrender.
January 25, 2016 at 15:55 #20474The next timing point I have is friday 5th February and if the
bulls want that as an ‘h’ then they best hold above lows of
last week and then rally into FMOC and beyond. That’s of interest but just day trading is best, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 26, 2016 at 18:38 #20502Ftse sharp drop and even sharper rally today, keeps the
idea of a run up into 5th Fedruary alive for the bulls. One thing bothers me about this idea and that is there
is quite a lot of time available.Assuming we do rally into 5th then we are either going
up a fair slice or that journey will have a lot of
back and forth action.All imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 27, 2016 at 09:36 #20535FMOC today so a good time to study and react to the reaction.
Even in ‘normal’ times the swings can be large but I suspect
that the stops will determine the swings as the robots go
and take them out, up and down.I may open some entry points for Ftse ooh IF we are or get
to a large enough gap from the rth close.Take care.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 27, 2016 at 14:17 #20539seems with oil pressure and falling markets, the expectation is good news from the fed tonight,my gut feeling is we go higher, but im thinking another sell off after the fomc minutes first to clear out the trend stops.im probably gonna take a short if we get a pop to gapfill first thing and see how it gets on.
January 27, 2016 at 16:01 #20544Small Ftse short at 5960
Analysis is clouded by some strange action.
I would think we are going sub 5900 again later this
week but the risk remains another test of 6000What fun.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 27, 2016 at 16:52 #20549Now Ftse rth is closed the robots will find it easy to
push into the stops at 6025 etcNever give up, never surrender.
January 27, 2016 at 17:22 #20550well had to take a 4 point bath on my es short cim,the fact we,ve taken out fridays high is very bullish.looking to buy a fed dip now.hopefully dip back to 1900 cash ideally.
January 27, 2016 at 18:11 #20551My idea of a run up into the 5th Feb still holds good
but there is still scope for a dip before then. The tag of Ftse 6000 and above raises the ? I asked
re the time available and hence price IF we do
go upish into 5th Feb.There is a possible large rally in play whilst all
the time a big splat looks likely.Never easy to be an independent trader.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 27, 2016 at 18:20 #20552It looks like stocks are going into FMOC on the uptick and
so I will be quick to take any profit from my under water
small Ftse shot at 5960. Lucky for me I have no other
trades open and have my stop set very high at what I
think maybe beyond this whole rally.Mind the doors and hold tight 🙂
Never give up, never surrender.
