yup,had to scratch that one for a loss.-65 handles and dropping.still think today sees a low,so on the look out again for a decent opportunity.damn massive overnight moves make it extremely hard.
Erm, rather baffled as to how you could lose 65 handles from 1830 when it has only dropped circa 20 handles since 1830??

LOL, ok gotcha. I was just visualizing you holding a gun to your head and about to pull the trigger !!
January 20, 2016 at 22:03 #20284decent shot at that is a swing low, normal disclaimers apply and ive been wrong before (but not very often :))
January 21, 2016 at 12:19 #20305Ftse and some other stocks have breached their October 2014 lows so
we may see others have to catch up a bit like Jpn and Dax.US markets are in between that range of Ftse and Aus vs Jpn and Dax.
Ftse count and pattern is tough to nail so best to day trade it.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2016 at 07:42 #20416Financial jobs tend to contract in bear markets
so expect ‘experts’ to talk markets back up.Large share holders want out and they will also
‘need’ the market higher so they can exit. The freedom of the small independent trader is
they can move with the mini trends.
Best if like me, it’s not your bread earner.Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2016 at 12:03 #20420Ftse 5915 maybe worth a look for a short entry, imho.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2016 at 14:28 #20422spoos continuing on up,been a great bias to have since wednesday but probably gonna come to an end late today/monday.for today id like to see a pullback to 1885spx ish to get long again basis 2hr sloping support.

Next resistance would be 6000 but that is a risky trade for
both bulls & bears as it’s likely to be a weekender trade. The market just loves to throw these difficult setups.
Take care.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 22, 2016 at 17:16 #20433I have cashed out at 5900 because it’s not going
to be a restful weekend with a trade open.Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2016 at 08:35 #20456I changed my mind and opened a Ftse short at 5930
right at the US close lastnight. My thinking is that 6000 is a risk but that we may
have a look at 5900 before or 5800 afterwards. It is against my rules to trade over weekends in
such a market but the trade is well with in my
acceptable risk parameters.Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2016 at 08:40 #20457The hope of more QE lifts markets but I doubt this
will keep stocks rallying and even before the end
of February it’s likely we see another panic sell. The best outlook for bulls is to hold recent lows
and keep a range through until, the usual sell
off in the spring, which could be severe.Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2016 at 21:02 #20458Companies listed on the London Stock exchange issued 100 profit warnings
between October and December 2015. That’s the most since the start of
2009 when the UK was in a recession.Never give up, never surrender.

and the ftse was 3460 at its lowest point that year (on march 9th)
it closed the year above 5400.
perhaps we are now in reverse gear :p
January 25, 2016 at 06:39 #20463Tesco has to restructure a £17.5bn debt mountain.
Shows the times we are in when a grocer gets into trouble.
