Just have to wait now and see if we do get a drop.

Project seaweed has been right every week, so far.

SPX:  a rising wedge might be complete.  However a perhaps better alternative is an ABC upwards move, perhaps as part of a bigger wedge.  If so, this first move upwards has 3210 as C=A.

It has exceeded my first targets and the only one left is now 3222.  RUT and NYA remain below their targets.

On the SPX daily it does indeed look like it wants to be a ‘three’.

SPX:  the more I look at this the more I become convinced that we are in the first stage of a rising wedge to 3,222.  If so, as mentioned before, this first move needs to be a C=A at 3,210.

We can redraw the potential wedge for ‘c’ allowing for a further drop over the next day or two (which would give you your seaweed drop cimac) followed by a further rise to the target.

If all of this is correct then after 3,210 the market should/must fall to overlap wave ‘A’ at 3,150.

I think it’s very likely that both our work is correct.

Looks like gbp:usd and eur:gbp will retrace post UK election result moves.

What we want is for stocks to retrace their recent moves !

US stocks may want to re visited the FMOC levels.

I would be surprised if we get more than that prior to new aths.

A 15pt profit and a 15pt loss for the two Dow short trades.

I may re enter short at 10:00 gmt or at US cash open
but only if we are higher … eg 28250

Yes, I’ve just been looking at that.  Unfortunately I was shaken out of my short, and now would be in profit (!).  Still, the count was uncertain and I’m okay with it – better to be safe than sorry.

It will be interesting to see what the Pound does from here.

Note that for the Dow to create overlap (and thus satisfy the minimum requirement) all it has to do is touch 28,200 cash.  Of course it can go lower.

                              Hmmm …. no positions now.

Still early days with my new projects so I am not
diving in for the expected drop.

Atm Dow 28200 does not give me enough leeway to
convince me of the risk / reward.

                                Small short Dow at 28222 … stop tba … limit tba ( x 2 )

Last try for this drop … anything under 28200
and the stop gets moved in to protect me.

UK retail sector discounts have reached near closing down discounts
and is a sure sign of trouble in January when I expect quite a
few high street names will have a sorry tale to tell.

Credit Crunch II in 2020 draws ever nearer.
