what do you mean Khalsa by cash charts do not show anything to do with trump? The DOW seems to have recovered 1000 points.

Was going to get a 13” Mac book pro but Apple seem to have increased the pricing of even the old 2015 models by £ 200!

infuriating is an understatement. Totally supported market. No point trying to short as they will almost certainly find a reason to prop it up after elections and into year end.
They certainly make it difficult for ordinary folk to make a buck .
Luckily i spend very little time looking at the markets nowadays as like you I prefer to spend time with family as that time can never be recovered.

Hi Khalsa or Dan if you are around a few questions if I may.
What are your thoughts on Gold as a long term investment? I know Dan has been going on about it.
How would you hold it? do you trust places like bullion exchange?
Have you heard of a chap called Minesh Bhindi ? He runs a service called gold and silver for life. can’t seem to post the link but type in words and you will find it.
He talks about currency devaluation and money having less purchasing power which I agree with. He talks about a regular income of 1-2% per month from gold but charges close to £ 4k to teach you how. It seems to me that he sells covered calls in gold and Im not about to part with that kind of money.
However I don’t seem to be able to make money from the markets nor do I have the time to screen watch. So I am curious to learn if you have any long term strategies that don’t involve holding small or large cap shares.

Khalsa how do you trade bonds with a spread bet? Which instrument and contract end date?
do you have any targets when you say fall a lot further?
Do you play cable ? What do you think about the pound/ dollar if US rates go up later this year?
markets seem very supported and uni directional. I never saw the spx or even ftse rising so much post bexit even with the falling pound.

I know what you mean K man. I have cut right down on trading due to work and managing the little one.
holding a couple of spoos average short from 2124 region. yet this constant grind is getting annoying. I would hate for it to go to + 22oo region. Yet in the past the market has turned just when no-one expected it to. so will wait and see.

Did you say KAIS also short . trying to recall if that happened prior to the the Brexit falls.
I guess so k man. not seen this behaviour for a long while . thought I came back from hols at a good time but alas no. stuck in a few longs average 2124 which should come good.
Some Elliot wave people targeting 2181 -2200 which is possible at this rate especially with OE this friday.
Time to keep some powder dry for adecent trading day.
