A few thoughts re a window for bulls to save Santa.

We are at or near pts where a breakdown could really get going.

I want to wait and see if a low pt prints at the end today or
very early friday.

Ftse & Dow & s&p & Dax & cable & eur:usd would qualify fwiw.

Never give up, never surrender.

Why settle for just 40pips profit on the eur:usd short …
because I do not trust these markets going up or down !

I am short eur:usd at the round number 1.38 on the basis that something or someone in euroland will cause a ripple of sorts

Closed out on the 13:30 dip …. 🙂

Yes, now waiting for eur:usd to drop.

Ftse at 6450 and Dow at 15800 zones which throws
up questions re Santa rally etc. Could get a big
move up or down to break out of this range.. eek!

Ftse and Cable movements, as a pairing, make
more sense than Dax and eur:usd, atleast 2me.

Dec 18(fmoc) 19(pomo) 20(oe) and you would not
want to be on the wrong train on those days !

Yes, markets are exhausted but also contained and maybe
just waiting for what looks like a +ve Dec OE etc.

We must choose our trade entries with greater care else
stand aside and go Xmas shopping 😉

Came back in to find I had made a profit from
a lopsided trade. Shorts are not in vogue yet
and will fair better in 2014 after we top out.

Short Cable 1.6450 and eur:usd 1.3750 in a small way only
just to see if any downside is possible today. Overall it
looks like higher for most markets after today, imho.

I will be taking any profits on these today, fwiw.

tuesday maybe the best the bear can hope for ?

Still the bears must break Ftse 6450 Dow 15800 to stop Santa, imho.

Cable and eur:usd outlook should be clearer after monday, imho.

Worth a look at eur:usd which had a ‘h’ in Oct and
a ‘l’ in Nov and now is at another fib retrace within
that same h-l range at 1.37 zone.

Next major scheduled US QE type news is FMOC in the last
full trading week of 2013 and followed by Dec OE.

Between now and those events it’s anyone’s guess re the
twists and turns we may be faced with.

If the NAS is still the US leader then bears look away now.
