Magical, closed 2789.50 short at 2760.4 for 29 points. It could be the low within my time range above.
Closed FTSE for 30 points also.

April 16, 2020 at 17:48 #30202I can see the logic of shorting Dow – Ftse – Dax because
stocks look ripe for a fall.I won’t be shorting until after OE or monday.
Never give up, never surrender.
April 16, 2020 at 18:12 #30203So far, its been a perfect day. Now it gets tough.
My “feeling” is a high 6.15pm/6.30pm and then down.

April 16, 2020 at 18:49 #30204I will wait until 19:30 and expect a rally into the close.

High was at 6.35pm.
Low was shallow at 7pm , so I think rally now into 8pm ish.

It is so hard to hold this any longer. I had 15 points profit and now 10 left.
Tempted to stick to plan of 8pm, but will close for 10 points at 2779.

April 16, 2020 at 21:53 #30211Anyone know why we got this squeeze after-hours?
Typical squeeze before OE?

April 16, 2020 at 22:57 #30213Added another 20% at 2860 June contract
April 17, 2020 at 01:11 #30214SPX: the shape of the rise is unclear. It *might* be a rising flat correction for wave ii. Shorts need to be very careful here. It *looks* like a rising wedge (and it might be) but I’ve seen these patterns before and they can resolve upwards with force.
Well SPX futures have traded as high as 2,900 here in the Far East. We got the upwards move with force.
2,900 is C=A but the shape isn’t correct and I have to wait until something will develop to give a signal. Above 2,900 cash I don’t have any targets except 3,351 which will fill the ATH downwards gap.
April 17, 2020 at 03:45 #30215SPX: I have to assume here that the action over the past few days is some sort of ‘rising continuation pattern’. It can be a bearish rising wedge, but I don’t think so.
I’m now counting it in fives, with a possible expanded flat thing for wave ii (of 3).
If this is correct (which it might not be) then the target to complete wave 3 is around 3,200, and *if* we are entering wave iii of 3 then we can expect a furious upwards move.
It might not happen, and something else can develop of course. But at the moment I’m counting fives until something else happens.
Bears need to be VERY AWARE of the upside potential here.
