“All financial and commodity markets are vulnerable to major reversals shortly as Mars will turn
retrograde on September 9 and Jupiter will turn direct on September 12. Even before then, Venus
(values, money) will be in opposition to Jupiter, Pluto, and Saturn August 25-September 2, and forming
a T-square with Mars on September 4. These are geocosmic reversal signatures, and the entire time
between now and mid-September can witness cyclical highs or lows from which reversals unfold. But
after that, one of the most powerful geocosmic time bands of the year takes place, September 28-
October 19, when Mars is retrograde in its ruling sign of Aries and makes a square to the Capricorn
stellium of Saturn, Pluto, and Jupiter. This portends a major shift in world matters, whether in politics,
the economy, or nature. And financial markets are likely to react to that shift by exhibiting major
reversals of trends.”September 7, 2020 at 15:01 #32911So far this week my day trades have been positive.
I think it may be because both bulls and bears are worried.
Never give up, never surrender.

September 8, 2020 at 01:57 #32914GBPUSD: the Pound appears to be trying for a ‘five up’ against the Dollar.
We got wave 1 up from 1.14 to 1.265 followed by wave 2.
Now we appear to be in wave 3 and have just completed wave 3 of 3 at 1.618.
If so, there should now be a small sideways 4th wave eventually leading to a clean wave 3 peak in the 1.407 area. This small 4th is likely to be ‘flat and long’ in order for the MACD to show a highest point at wave 3 of 3.
Clearly this five wave pattern isn’t guaranteed. The rise from 1.14 can also be a three but the proportions and ratios don’t look right.
It’s tempting to go long here for a rise to 1.407, but that is a higher risk trade.
The trade with the greatest certainty and very high reward/risk is to wait to see if the 5th of 3 does indeed produce a rise to 1.407. At 1.407 there is a VERY HIGH PROBABILITY of a 4th wave return to the 1.34 area giving 600 to 700 points of potential return on the short side.

Clearly the big drop last week brings that count into question, but 4th wave triangles do often start with a sharp move down followed by sideways action.
So I’m guessing that this is the start of wave 4 which will be a sideways triangle.
Frankly I think the big drop is really at the limit of what one might reasonably expect in the start of a 4th wave, and any further new lows will probably negate that idea.
Notice that every correction since the virus low has bounced from the RSI 50. On Friday we got a massive hammer reversal which kept the RSI at 50 again.

At the moment I’m calling a three wave decline followed by the hammer reversal which is likely wave ‘a’ of the next abc to form ‘B’.
For the triangle to be valid this wave ‘B’ really needs to be quite strong and touch the 11,800/900 area. If that doesn’t happen then the triangle idea is likely wrong.
