Just got a text to say look at the Ftse.

Well best bet is we have finished the retrace off of the 24th August lows
via an odd kinda ‘abc’ and must now test those 24th Aug lows once more.

      Never give up, never surrender.

Bank of England may cut rates, says chief economist.
        http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-34291815

Final nail in the coffin for the UK methinks but I doubt
we will see it happen as it would show that QE was a
total waste of time and money.

just post what I see paps….mostly garbage ! the futures low was 1954 , so that remains lis for now . below 1937 and bears are in clover , but I don’t want to run longs that far , hence my stop. only thing that bugs me is the seasonal weakness, so if I see a chance to close half my long for a few , I’ll do so before running the rest

cut half for +7 , stop on the rest at 1952 which would give a small loss. hopefully we don’t see the stop before well over 2020 , but happy either way now

baaa – “what you see” was very useful info and looks right now to be correct. Thanks again  🙂

took off more long , as I’d rather not have the hassle . small position left to run into next week.

Made a few quid on a long thanks to baaa, it still looks weak though, short now.

Stock markets like Ftse and sp500 etc have looked to be in
                    a decline via a 1-2-3 and now 4th wave(done at fmoc) with
the 5th down to come(in play now). That is a valid count
                    and the most popular atm.

However we have to allow for a decline via 3 waves down,
3 waves up and now in 5 waves down. Now this count would
have two stand out features. The current decline would
be sharper and larger but it would be a retrace(abc) with
new ath’s on the menu, after the retrace is down.

The bulls will hope that the 24th low, was the low via
an odd ‘abc’ and we rally again up and beyond fmoc high.

If we take the high at the fmoc / quad witch and the
low of 24th Aug, we have our range which will be a
guide to which count is right.

VW situation shows your never too big to be brought down.

I have owned more VW’s than any other make, so I am a fan.

But even I am shocked by this emissions scandal.

cut the rest of my longs …this bounce may run out of steam in the 1980-90 area and the seasonals look horrible for this week.

surprised the precious metals are not seeing a bigger bounce ..yet

Ftse bulls can, for now, take comfort in the fact
that the Rate Of Decline is slow.

Bears will say, spare the ROD and spoil the bull.

As we are still in the 24th Aug low to fmoc high
range, nothing is decided. But the counts in
play favour a 24th Aug low retest.

Another day when the Ftse bulls manage to hold.

I thought either late today or very early thursday would
be the bears best chance to run at Ftse 24th Aug lows.

Time is now an issue for atleast two reasons.

Nextweek we have the 3rd qtr into 4th qtr funds rebalancing
where investors want to sell high buy low. Goodluck as the
algo’s will try and extend the swings.

The more time we spend in the 24th Aug low – fmoc high the
greater the spring will be wound for the exit.

                                  Never give up, never surrender.
