structurally looks like a”c” of an abc up from last mondays lows.
That is a good ‘bet’ but something re price or timing has raised a ?
We have the G20 this weekend and so traders must position friday
for the outcome on monday. A lot of variables to consider.Never give up, never surrender.
September 3, 2015 at 14:26 #16743Back to today the euroland action has raised a few ?’s as to
how the sp500 will react in rth.For me the sp500 bull / bear is a fine balance and it maybe
those robot running stop programs which decide the outcome. If in profit, don’t let it turn into a loss.
Never give up, never surrender.
September 3, 2015 at 15:35 #16744>2% gap down again . another test for the system…
within 2pts of the fill & closed 90% of longs – system does it again for 50+pts ..lol
hopefully get an 8-10 pts overthrow to get short into
Nice to see you got your KTS signal K – my trin signals suggesting that this gets sold for a low below this weeks ….& so the yo-yo goes on…target could be well south , but not get ahead of ourselves
September 3, 2015 at 15:56 #16745This week it was thought the smart money was long the eur:usd.
Looking at today’s candle the smart money was .. not so smart.Never give up, never surrender.
September 3, 2015 at 16:04 #16746Also looks like the robots are running stocks higher to clear out stops.
Never give up, never surrender.
September 3, 2015 at 16:14 #16747China has a two day ww2 victory holiday.
Next monday is Labor Day in the US.So we must add in low volumes, which cranks up the risk.
Never give up, never surrender.
September 4, 2015 at 11:39 #16804ouch! got burnt on that one..stopped myself out before it got too painful.
im still expecting a big rally after the weekend but for now its sinking like a stone,so from what level, who knows?.congrats on the shorts fellas!September 4, 2015 at 11:44 #16805Careful Houdini…
that JPM quant guy reckons more selling to come and he said that pre -1000 dow too.
ok perhaps he could be talking his book but just saying.
My guess is we retest the recent lows and probably exceed them.
Dan.
September 4, 2015 at 11:45 #16806Sorry to hear that Houd. Its certainly very volatility and hitting extremes. However its good to see it coming down after the “throwover” yesterday.
NFP’s are next in at 1.30pm our time
Plan your trade, trade your plan!
September 4, 2015 at 12:19 #16809had some nice winners lately so its been offset thankfully,im convinced we go up first before we take out last mondays lows.this stinks of pre holiday shenanigans to me.stringent stops will be in place on any more longs though lol.can just see a big gap up opening next week if we close well in the red today.
September 4, 2015 at 18:05 #16823Main focus now will be the Sept FMOC meeting.
We have the G20 this weekend but these guys tend to sit
around and wait for someone else to do something.Never give up, never surrender.
September 6, 2015 at 07:44 #16833From the Ftse low on 24th August we retraced 500pts
and we are inside of that range atm. That fact that we
are talking 500pts, gives a clue to the risks. It looks like we are consolidating before another go
at that 24th August low.Daily risks are two way because the robots will go
after bull and bear stops. Larger frame it looks
like the markets are in the do-do. More on this
if we can re-test 24th August and produce some
count that confirms a pattern.Never give up, never surrender.
September 6, 2015 at 11:29 #16834Hi Cim,
I think they take out those lows but trading it is hard in these crazy volatile markets. Plays with ones emotions.
sound like a parrot, but the counterparty risks and gigantic credit out there are a frightening force if they start to come apart.
Dan.
September 7, 2015 at 14:26 #16844Hi Dan, whose a pretty boy then 😉
“Tesco sells South Korea stores for £4bn”
Well this is the sort of thing that happens when
the world economy is in contraction, take note.Never give up, never surrender.
September 8, 2015 at 09:25 #16853Indeed …. holding some longer term shorts.
The daily Spoos chart looks a bit pennant like.
