Atm I can close the Ftse 7032 at b/e and have done so.
Dow 18155 can run into next week.
Back monday.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 14, 2016 at 20:01 #24168Closed Dow 18155 at b/e.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 16, 2016 at 08:24 #24171The wave down looks more like 5 and wave up looks more like 3.
Overall the decline lacks the down punch and so it could still
be a 4th wave before a 5th wave to new aths. The bears would bust the 4th idea if they take out levels
like Ftse 5000 / Dow 17000 and turn them into resistance.Another week with events like EcB rate news and October OE.
Stock markets look nervous but they still have QE support.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 16, 2016 at 08:26 #24172Right on the US closing bell I took a
small short at Ftse 7015
just to cover any surprise down move.Never give up, never surrender.
October 17, 2016 at 09:08 #24175Trying to make sense of Janet Yellens’s speech last friday.
I could write a whole page but in the end to me the Fed
will only get their desired outcome with a rate hike.BoE has said inflation would be allowed to rise and the
Fed says the same. EcB this week could play that tune.Overall we are moving away from QE, maybe kicking and
screaming but we are and interest rates have to rise.Never give up, never surrender.
October 17, 2016 at 20:58 #24178small short at Ftse 7015
Closed.
Small long Dax into EcB thursday maybe into OE friday.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 18, 2016 at 07:03 #24180Closed the Dax …. 50pts overnight too tempting.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 18, 2016 at 08:15 #24181Small short at Ftse 7001
just to cover any surprise down move.Never give up, never surrender.
October 18, 2016 at 09:01 #24182I got in long just before last nights close and very tempted to close myself, but gonna tough it out through rth.being opex, cant rule out a screaming rally up to the big “w” target at 2180 es this week.that would be a lovely short area..drooling at the thought! One step at a time.stop raised to 2121 breakeven.
October 18, 2016 at 10:20 #24183Yes it’s really all about
1. new ath’s
2. in a 4th with more down, then new ath’s.
3. goodnight Charlie anytime soon.I still favour (2) and the next ‘h’ could as houdini
says this week’s OE.EcB could be fireworks of a kind.
I will hold my Ftse short and wait for the bulls to fade.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 18, 2016 at 10:50 #24184closed 80% of my shorts this morning. would ideally like a rally for 3-6 trading days and an opportunity to reload . one possibility is a retrace all the way back to 2160/70 , which would then set up something more interesting
will probably look to short tomorrow , maybe near the close . 2155-2160 the area, but I’m more influenced by time than price at the moment.
October 18, 2016 at 12:26 #24185Ftse could be in a triangle which will break downwards.
The bears would not want much above today’s current hod ( in rth )
to keep this in play.Atm it is just a possible but makes me feel it’s worth holding short.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 18, 2016 at 19:03 #24189Closed out at 2136 after much deliberation lol.watch the bugger rip now..
October 18, 2016 at 19:19 #24190As ever, opex week is being difficult to decipher, best grab your points while you can before the bots sit you back down in your chair.got a choppy look through next week.i want to be short soon though.where and when is the tough bit.
October 19, 2016 at 07:31 #24198Ftse s2h s3h done and should be s4l s1h s2l to finish the week.
If we drop below 7000 today I will be tempted to close my short
and then reenter short after EcB and OE.Main markets at a xroads. Trick is to be on the right train !
Never give up, never surrender.
