Quite a day for moves on Ftse and US majors.
The swings this afternoon are not a good sign
regardless of the press spin.Never give up, never surrender.
October 4, 2016 at 19:08 #24057Ftse now 7045 so time to move stops down and protect
profits as we can always reenter, repeat, repeat etc.NFP friday.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 4, 2016 at 21:00 #24062Looking at the Ftse pattern just prior to the hod
and the reaction down into the close. This does
have the feel of a cit. Needs confirmation but
my plan is to keep a short running.Never give up, never surrender.
October 5, 2016 at 07:40 #24064Whilst we wait to see if the Ftse ‘invhs’ now becomes
a ‘dt’ in the shape of a ‘bat’ or a ‘hanging man’
it’s time for me to take a few days holiday
but remain short through NFP.By next monday we should have a clearer chart.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 6, 2016 at 07:48 #24071Range getting narrower, coiling up for non farms tomorrow.its too easy at the minute, any frequent trader long or short is making money..any trade going against you wil be back in profit by the next day lol..one side is about to get burnt.i am short again from 2161 sox just in case.
October 6, 2016 at 15:14 #24073Closed short for 7.staying flat for nfp tomorrow.got a nagging feeling its gonna pop.
October 7, 2016 at 08:48 #24080The Bank of England have lost their only weapon
as they can’t fire their QE canon due to the
crash in the value of the pound.Rate hike is their next move ?
Never give up, never surrender.
October 7, 2016 at 14:22 #24085NFP numbers are not far enough from expected so a small
type of 3 way reaction and then back to current track.Still happy to be short the Ftse.
Back monday.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 10, 2016 at 08:23 #24094Low volume algo driven markets make a nonsense of precise prices
so let us use Ftse 7080 and 7125 as a guide to where we may see
clues as to the markets intentions this week.I will stay short Ftse through October, fwiw.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 10, 2016 at 15:18 #24097After some day trading I am now
short Ftse 7102
that is all the risk I want atm.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 10, 2016 at 15:56 #24100BBC reports many UK airports are giving parity when
buying euros or dollars with pounds.Well done the UK government, another low(sic) point !
Never give up, never surrender.
October 10, 2016 at 16:20 #24101If FTSE manages to get back to circa 7130 it forms a classic double top “hook” to short.
I’m already short 6099.48 and will add with tight stop if it manages 7130ish
EDIT: ON the daily chart that is.
October 11, 2016 at 08:42 #24104Ftse rally … US futs not interested.
I would prefer the US futs to be right.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 11, 2016 at 12:20 #24105Added short at 7129.13, make or break time.
October 11, 2016 at 12:36 #24106Yes, agree with that.
Time wise today would be right for a Ftse cit.
Never give up, never surrender.
