Just been looking at them on IG.
1810 spx500 put is about 20
November 7, 2014 at 20:56 #9373Cashed in the 6605 at 6565 due to trailed stop getting a bit tight.
Re opened at 6575 earlier, was looking for something higher
but took what was on. If the US drags ooh higher then I may
add one more position and that would be that.Never give up, never surrender.

November 8, 2014 at 00:39 #9381March next year…
November 8, 2014 at 18:31 #9382So far no sign of a decent drop for the Ftse in the first half
of November but I am reminded that the drop I had
expected in the first half of October was right
at the end of that window, even a few days
later for the bottom. My lastest data gives the best odds of a November low as 15th or 16th
so that would indeed fit with the late in window October low.Never give up, never surrender.
November 9, 2014 at 08:42 #9383Because the 15th & 16th fall at the weekend these dates
are of little value for our plans so best we just hold
ready for a drop, most likely sharp, between now
and mid month. At times like this I break my overnight and overweekend
holding trades rule and if I am in too early, try and
make minor adjustments to improve my entry points.Never give up, never surrender.
November 9, 2014 at 11:23 #9384Cheers Cimac,
very interested to watch this pan out now.
basically it has to fall this week, unless it’s a black Monday event in 8 days time.
November 9, 2014 at 11:25 #9385There again unlikely to be a Black Monday as that would normally be followed by weeks more of down before a bottom…
November 9, 2014 at 12:14 #9386Although it’s not quad oe we should watch how the boys
set things up this thursday for oe on friday 21st.If we don’t get atleast to touch Ftse 6400 nextweek I will
be well very 🙁 🙁Never give up, never surrender.
November 10, 2014 at 08:07 #9388For today my analysis has the bulls in charge early
but the bears take it back as the day unfolds. So not really an exciting day, hope I am wrong.
Never give up, never surrender.
November 10, 2014 at 16:34 #9394There are various stat type market trends in play this week.
Weakness in the week after NFP.
Bullish start and end to November but weakness in the middle.
A low on thursday or friday in the week before OE.So latest stats favour the bears this week but if they don’t
use it they will lose out to things like EcB qe, Santa, the
Xmas bonus creation, suck in new money in for next year.Never give up, never surrender.
November 10, 2014 at 17:01 #9398I would like FTSE to go to the trend line at 6640, what it does from there should tell a story for the next days maybe a week or two
November 10, 2014 at 17:38 #9399I have seen that line drawn so that a touch of 6605-6610 is enough.
If we don’t make enough of a move down by the end of this week
then I will suspect that this move up is not a retrace but is wave1
of a move which would target 7000-7200We need good stops and be ready to act when we get some sort
of clearer signal. We don’t want to get this wrong.Never give up, never surrender.
November 10, 2014 at 17:49 #9400There are variations in charts due to some using
only rth (the classical form for charting) or
adding ooh.Never give up, never surrender.
November 10, 2014 at 18:15 #9402I have seen that line drawn so that a touch of 6605-6610 is enough.
Yes that’s possible. The origin is now a long way back so a slight variation on how you draw it at the source will make quite a difference presently.
