Dow 17700 as a mid point and we have already
gone + / – 40pts as the thrash continues.I think this is all about taking out long and short
stops for those who have gone in too big.It would be good if we soon got a trend.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 11, 2015 at 15:00 #12397US market could so do with a ‘wedge zoom’ to liven it up.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 11, 2015 at 15:02 #12398Having being away for a long weekend I still find myself long and short equal amounts. Silver’s dip isn’t helping me out. Could dip below the last low I guess before coming back up – seems to be in a down channel.
gold in Euros is doing ok 🙂
March 11, 2015 at 15:19 #12400Hi Dan
There are lower targets for gold and silver but I do wonder
if those will ever be available to the small traders 😉I dare not post what I think of this Greek ‘funding’ thing
as I may end up in court. What I will say is the new Greek governing body is young
and maybe the EcB et al will find it in their hearts to
give them some slack.Never give up, never surrender.

Gold in euros and gold in dollars.
now will gold in dollars follow?
March 11, 2015 at 15:39 #12403I am tempted to buy some more gold and silver coins
to tuck away, regardless of what currency I use 😉Never give up, never surrender.
March 11, 2015 at 15:42 #12404Indeed…. which is why we have to accumulate now. My upside targets are so high buying at 1150 today or at 950 or 1500 is pretty much irrelevant.
just need the margin to keep my silver spread bets alive which aren’t too big so should be fine. If it went to 10 or something then I’d hope I’d have the balls to add to longs.
based on the 1970’s gold could do 950 if it copies the halving from highs. It then went up 8 times mind which if it repeated this time gets us to around $8000. If silver gets to $100 I’ll be in a position to buy a house outright. If it does $200, which I reckon is a reasonable target, I’ll get a bigger house…lol. Silver moves in larger %’s than gold most of the time.
tell us your thoughts on Greek funding. Just use the word allegedly a lot.
March 11, 2015 at 15:45 #12405Back in the day, we and our parents, worked hard to balance
the books and that was the right thing to do.Now, those in power have decided, that we no longer do that.
So, it is unfair, not to add a few more electronic zeros,
to help those that are suffering true hardship.Never give up, never surrender.

Just use the word allegedly a lot.It would take many pages and bore kpaders.
I think the EcB will do the human thing and extend
the hand of euroland friendship to Greece.Never give up, never surrender.
March 11, 2015 at 16:14 #124071971 and the removal of gold from the currency/ financial system. Gave ultimate discretion to central bankers to raise debt ceilings, increase debts as and when they want to. Never before in thousands of years had there been a monetary system without a precious metal involved to some degree or other. Unchartered territory.

March 11, 2015 at 19:44 #12412What a tough day trading the US markets but the trend did

March 12, 2015 at 16:36 #12424lexis Tsipras says Greece must restructure its public debt. “We can no longer pretend that the country’s public debt is viable and serviceable, when it stands at around 178%,” the Greek PM said after talks at OECD in Paris. “It is absolutely vital for Greece to have its public debt restructured.”
