SPX: the actual C=A target is 3534, pretty close to Tom DeMark’s 3486.
Once (if) we get there I shall build short positions looking for a return to overlap 2954.
That will be a drop of circa 500 points likely over several months.

Started ok but then something else in play.

TSLA apparently now qualifies for inclusion in the S&P500 Index. Yet to be confirmed.
*If* S&P approve inclusion at the next review, all the Index Funds will become forced buyers of TSLA stock which is illiquid and still has an army of shorts.
In which case it could literally go to the moon.
Might be a case of ‘buy the rumor, sell the fact’ or ‘better to travel than to arrive’.
NYSE: the NYA remains the ‘cleanest’ count with and exact abc up to ‘A’. Then we got ‘B’. Like SPX, the only logical route I can see is a rising wedge for ‘C’. Target for C=A remains the 13,500 area.
Note that the strong rise from ‘A’ to ‘a’ clearly wasn’t a five.
The sideways move over the last month or two *might* have been a sloppy triangle, and the market has now broken upwards from that consolidation.
The MACD is bullish but with the obvious suggestion that divergence will develop if the market moves higher.
