Ray Merriman has around Jan 10th for a possible ‘trend turn’. He’s very good, so that date will be worth watching.
Interesting to see if this plays out.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 8, 2020 at 19:51 #28757Spx & Nas push for new ath’s so it’s likely Dow will follow.
I will hold current positions into next week and as there is
nothing for me to trade, I will take a 4 day weekend break.Never give up, never surrender.
January 8, 2020 at 19:58 #28758Yes, exceedingly strange market with SPX at ATH. I don’t have a position.
January 8, 2020 at 22:03 #28759The 10th is a full moon and lunar eclipse.
It would be better for the bulls were it a new moon.
We are in the +/- 2 day window for such events.
Today is STD S4
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 04:36 #28760Added 3rd an 4th at 28805
…Closed both at 28795
Keeping the 28600 & 28500 for now.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 06:47 #28761DJI and SPX developing possible five up. Can go higher. Relentless market.
January 9, 2020 at 08:14 #28762Timing and cycle based trading methods provide
warnings when expected cits don’t happen.I was quite used to this when using STD but
my error has been to not incorporate that
into trading my new timing project. At this rate I will be lucky to end this
week at b/e for 2020 … ****Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 09:02 #28763Dow 29000 & Dax 13500 in view but tricky for bulls and bears.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 10:18 #28764Closed remainder at Dow 28880
I think the 10th cit will work but it may be delayed
for over the weekend which would be the hardest to
trade as the odds would be for a gap open monday.Time for me to have a rest in a dark room.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 15:04 #28765Entry order in place to …
…
Small short Dow at 29000 … stop 30125 … limit tba ( x 2 )
…
I will not tinker with this so it either works or it does not.Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 16:59 #28766What a difference a morning and an afternoon can have.
Freed from the lumber of that positional trade I have
been able to execute 10 small day trades to claw
some of my loss back. One good trade from being b/e for 2020 now so I must
take care.Deleted the Dow 29000 entry order. For now atleast.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 17:49 #28767None of my calculations produce numbers for the Dow up here.
For SPX I have/had a possibility of the 3,290 area, but whether that is reliable I don’t know.
The only index that conforms to my expectations is RUT which is rallying in a B wave below the original 1679 target area.
Not confident, and I’m happy to stand aside to see what happens.
January 9, 2020 at 17:53 #28768If this is a ‘five up’ there’s a 1.618 for the Dow at 29,015 or so (say 29,000) but I think that will only be ‘wave 3’.
January 9, 2020 at 18:17 #28769Small short Dow at 28980 … stop 30100 … limit tba ( x 2 )
Never give up, never surrender.
January 9, 2020 at 18:33 #28770Dow helped by Boeing rally on reports the Ukrainian plane
was shot down by Iran.Never give up, never surrender.
