So I have a +110pt (x2) hedge to trade at FMOC !

With the latest numbers out from China it seems to me that infections and deaths are not increasing in a parabolic form but more linear. This might suggest that the actions taken are enough to limit the problem to the Hubei and Wuhan areas (with the odd scare elsewhere). Time will tell of course, and markets might remain worried.
The correction in Western markets is really quite small, and my feeling is that the slightest sign of containment and these markets will rise like a rocket.
Interesting that the emerging markets (and currencies) haven’t taken the sort of hit one might expect in this ‘risk off’ phase.
Dow at 28500 and I have made a bundle over night.
Half of positions closed and stops lowered on the rest.
Dow 28000 into EOM still on the cards.

Time and price for a Dow ‘l’ are unclear and of no use.
I mentioned 28000 and EOM but the reality is we could
find support 27500 – 28500 plus the seaweed indicates
yet more weakness through the first week of February.Best to take profits when you can.
