Overdue a run on some currencies perhaps, giving
the greenback a boost, flight to safety etcNever give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2014 at 18:21 #3689This drop allowed for a close of that Ftse short at 6782 for
a small profit which was a great relief … phew.Never give up, never surrender.
January 23, 2014 at 18:53 #3696The recent rise of Cable and eur:usd could be part of
an attempt to spread risk … which maybe a sign fear
is spreading and larger players want to be able to
react in good time and in the right way.Still a one day at a time market but today US dipsters
have had a struggle thus far.Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 01:03 #3716Still a one day at a time market but today US dipsters
have had a struggle thus far.LOL, no sooner had you said that and the dipsticks appeared. I smell back to the 1840’s tomorrow, (Crooksday). Oops sorry, there aren’t any crooks, I mean, err, Friday.
January 24, 2014 at 09:25 #3718Dip buyers lost again.
There will be a good bounce at some point but the
play now is to trail those short stops.Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 10:25 #3719Ftse to test support circa 6700 – 6680 which is a fair
sandline to show what kind of a drop we have in play.I will set limits and stops and take an early start
to my weekend.Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 10:44 #3720enjoy Cim, I have banked nearly hundred points from when u last mentioned the opportunity to short the FTSE. Still have some underwater positions but am happy to hold them.
January 24, 2014 at 12:50 #3721Well done …. it’s you trading, not me.
Cable short from 1.66 is closed a pip or two
off +100pips profit. Mainly so I can have no
trades open this weekend, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 16:06 #3740The depth of this drop will cause a lot of traders
to do some homework this weekend trying to
guage where it bounces.Time wise a bounce starting late monday or early
tuesday seems the best fit to me.When it comes the bounce will tell us a lot and
if it does not then a black hole opens 😉Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 16:17 #3743Make a note of the FMOC meeting on wednesday 29th January
as it will likely be a focus for stocks and fx pairs. In an ideal world we find support and rally into it but
whatever happens we will find a trade worth taking 🙂Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 20:57 #3762I like the look of the major stock markets in their red outfits
as it better reflects the future propects of most countries.
Smug leaders with your silly photo shoot grins take note.Have a great weekend.
Never give up, never surrender.
January 24, 2014 at 23:00 #3769Wow wee….. I had to look at the daily charts to check I wasn’t looking at the 5 min charts, the candles were so big !!! you go away for a couple hit days meetings……… That’s one ugly red s&p candle (or pretty depending how your positioned) a quick glance at my chart shows an old major rising trend line where it closed tonight…..but does anyone feel like buying a falling samurai sword !!!
January 25, 2014 at 09:22 #3770Ftse ooh quotes got below 6600 where we have the next fib level
and hence has to be something we watch with great care when we
open next week.Never give up, never surrender.
January 26, 2014 at 20:25 #3773Nope Ark, but some will be smugly closing there shorts…and I think K will be one of them!
January 26, 2014 at 21:37 #3774lol Ark
Nas got back to 4250 zone…. that’s where it bounced too before its monster fall in 2000….
Poor old Qwackers and Randall were stopped out and lost a huge amount the same day it turned…
There was lots of sword catching going on then!!
