Small droplets of rain turn into Rivers, Streams and Mighty Oceans
February 5, 2014 at 16:07 #4190Ftse bun fight continues into BoE & EcB & NFP and I would
not like to trade much until we clear this data, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
February 5, 2014 at 17:24 #4198Ftse chart looks ugly not helped by the fact
that a decent rally can’t get going. On the
other hand 6400 holds, curious.Never give up, never surrender.
February 5, 2014 at 18:25 #4206just waiting for NFP now mate I guess.
February 6, 2014 at 10:26 #4231I always think it’s possible the EcB will say something
that the market latches onto. Hence caution today.Never give up, never surrender.
February 6, 2014 at 12:48 #4233A timely reminder why we do not advise trading
on days when central banks release news etc.Never give up, never surrender.
February 6, 2014 at 15:50 #4238Ftse at 6565 which is the first real test point and
it has taken a lot of bull to get there, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
February 6, 2014 at 16:17 #4240As you can make a case for two prices where we are atm
let’s say 6565 – 6575 as our first potential reversal
zone to watch. The second could be turkey spike 6642.
The third a bit below 6700 at 0.618 fib.
That should be enough to watch for now.
Never give up, never surrender.
February 6, 2014 at 16:19 #4242Ftse at 6565 which is the first real test point and
it has taken a lot of bull to get there, imho.Yep, it also lines up with SPX 1770 which is circa 61.8 retrace of the drop 4 days ago.
February 6, 2014 at 16:21 #4243Just closed all my longs in pension and SB account from the other day, may go further but hey, never go broke taking a profit…… Expecting ES 65 to present a problem as it held for so long as support.
February 6, 2014 at 19:41 #4248It would be just like this trickster market for the US to
hit a mini peak tonight and leave all the NFP watchers
high and dry on friday 😉Never give up, never surrender.
February 7, 2014 at 08:31 #4268As we entered the first test 6565-6575 zone
this morning I opened a Ftse short, fwiw.Risks are NFP and the two higher test zones.
Rewards are re-test 6400 or a lot lower.
Use stops, re-enter if needed as per etc.
Never give up, never surrender.
February 7, 2014 at 14:11 #4276Closed half my Ftse short on the initial dip which will
help if the remainder gets into upwards froth 🙂Is NFP a three wave, if so the 1st was down and we are
still sorting out the 2nd up but the eventual 3rd will
be lower than the 1st … lets see.Never give up, never surrender.
February 7, 2014 at 14:25 #4277yes normally 3 waves, however, the first spike was up not down but it was only a small one, 4-5 handles. Not sure if it counts in the 3 waves
February 7, 2014 at 14:42 #4279Current action suggest the initial up spike does count. Trend up now for a while.
