Ftse short (7111) stop moved to 7091 just incase.
Never give up, never surrender.
April 16, 2015 at 15:44 #13203Closed the Ftse short.
I have decided if I am out and about then with costed
trades I am happy to let them run because I feel my
analysis of the bigger picture will play out.
However, if I am indoors then I want something to
show for the time spent on the markets.
No doubt I will come up with a suitable plan that
allows for both trading styles.Never give up, never surrender.
April 16, 2015 at 18:18 #13204Markets wise I am doing nothing on spoos. I am wary it wants aths again.
Plenty of action right through until EOM.
That maybe the best window for bulls to
try for new ath’s over the pond.Never give up, never surrender.
April 16, 2015 at 22:04 #13211Former IMF chief detained on money laundering charges…lol
April 16, 2015 at 22:07 #13212In the US another very low volume day. At this rate dealers and
staff and SB’s etc will be going down to the Jobcentre.A market where activity dries up will most likely fall as there
are no forced buyers but there are always forced sellers.Unless something makes those on the sidelines to come and buy,
this market is vulnerable to a sell in May type year, imho.Never give up, never surrender.

Maybe the guy was just washing and ironing his banknotes 😉
Never give up, never surrender.
April 17, 2015 at 10:33 #13216All closed and done for the week and quite happy to be in profit.
I have entry orders for small Ftse shorts at 7125 7150 7175 7200
The rest of April looks interesting with my main focus on the
last two days of the month, fwiw.Back monday.
Never give up, never surrender.
April 19, 2015 at 08:12 #13232Ftse pattern has seemed out all on it’s own for sometime
but now I see how it could fit with the s&p pattern. Some traders think the s&p is in an ‘e’ down before it
makes a hard push to new ath’s. Well the Ftse could
be seen to be in the same situation.Ftse bulls have to defend 6800 with the exact price
changeing daily as we are in as ascending wedge.Never give up, never surrender.
April 19, 2015 at 08:23 #13233Ftse ooh closed circa 7000 on friday and that is circa halfway
between bears target 6800 to bust the bulls chance of 7250I expect we will get the answers this month or atleast get
a new potential pattern to emerge.Atm this is my best shot at ‘what the f***s going on’. 😉
Never give up, never surrender.

How the savings rate is calculated. Turns out they work it out by taking income and then deducting current consumption and future consumption. Past consumption is not included, so if you use your income to pay debt as most folks are doing they are registering that number as savings.
April 20, 2015 at 06:56 #13237Dan, rich and powerful people like to try and play god.
Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2015 at 08:43 #13239In 5 out of last 6 years , we’ve seen a dip into the April expiry . In 4/5 of those the low came on the Monday after expiry , the 5th on the Friday of expiry week . The window for a high before that dip was 4th-14th April . Yesterday’s high came in on the 13th… Size of the dip is c 2.5-4.5% . An “average ” 3% would get us to the 2040 support level, the level targeted ( & failed) from last week. In the year this didn’t work, there was an early month dip of 4% which bottomed on the 11th. Largest high to low dip this month is less than 1% so far . either this is statistical nonsense or we have a 2-3% dip due in the next 5 sessions … I remain short & a tad u/water.
got a 2% dip and closed two thirds of my shorts on Friday. If we rally into tomorrow , I shall prob add them back…have a cit due Friday/Monday fwiw
April 20, 2015 at 09:00 #13240I have a small Ftse short at 7061
This low volume stop run market is very hard to play.
We have started bullish but I favour lower later, then
maybe a rally into midweek then down into friday. In an ideal world baaa get’s his cit at the weekend
and then we rally into EOM.Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2015 at 14:17 #13241We are 7 years on from the credit crunch and near to
a re-cycle of those events.Blame everyone else but it’s far more likely we in
the west are going to shot ourselves in the foot.Never give up, never surrender.
April 20, 2015 at 14:29 #13242I have a small Ftse short at 7061
Ftse has been very kind … Dax has held up.
Let’s see which one the US follows, if any.
Never give up, never surrender.
