Great to wake up to the trade history and see that the Oil I did late on Friday closed at 2992 closed at 2704 last night. Just brilliant I see it went alot lower but also is higher now.

April 6, 2020 at 07:56 #29781This was becuase the Saudi / Russian talks have been posttponed until Friday (no surprise there). I should really short it again but I have missed a high circa 2930 this morning. If it goes back up, I will.

April 6, 2020 at 08:07 #29782So all the news channels says that this is up becuase of a slow down in the number of cases in the world.
Firstly the weekend always shows a slowdown for some reason (probably reporting)
Secondly it has little to do with much else other than the exit strategy from self isolation.

April 6, 2020 at 09:58 #29783Look slike today’s cue is not coming from Europe. There is nothing going on. It looks like it will await US opening and then follow US.
Japan cases going exponential and they are now looking at a lockdown. It’s far from over!

April 6, 2020 at 10:14 #29784Dow odds are S1L after spill up.
Ftse & Dax have done the spill up and are now looking for pt1
IF the lean is right and we get S1L & S2H ‘normal’ then a ‘l’
late tuesday or spill down wednesday would fit nicely. When I say ‘l’ I am thinking in relation to this gap up.
zarif did Jeffrey Tennant think a ‘l’ on tuesday ?
Never give up, never surrender.

Yes ‘K’ I also think euroland and the US will want to play out
their own patterns.Hence unlikely that euroland will dent US futures.

April 6, 2020 at 11:07 #29786So S&P futures are near limit up.
Most interetsed to see how it plays out.
Will it be a super pop and drop or will they hold onto todays gains.
Next resistance meaningful is 2630 on June futures, which is another 60 points higher.

April 6, 2020 at 13:15 #29787US stocks in the cash market could be all
about fund managers nerve.
Many need cash and if the selling were
to get rolling it could snow ball.Never give up, never surrender.
April 6, 2020 at 14:09 #29788Ftse seems the most likely to drop.
It retraced 50% for pt1
Struggling to rally for pt1a
So pt2 could take a larger bite out of the rally
whenever it prints.Never give up, never surrender.

whenever it prints.Looks like an ‘abc’ from pt1 to a potential pt1a window.
Worth keeping an eye on for clues.

April 6, 2020 at 14:18 #29790Thanks Chris.
You have the open in RTH and then 3.20/3.40pm. Both can be a start of a move. The first could be a false start.
Its ES into open and just after I am interested in for overall direction of all the indices.

April 6, 2020 at 14:28 #29791Cheers ‘K’
Dax trying for 10k on hope of virus slow down
enough to consider lowering restrictions.I think that is premature and may disappoint.

Hopefully this made sense having watched the market open just now.
The opening RTH move was down, but it was false. It looked good but, it simply reversed back up after fooling the majority.
So next I will look at the 3.20/3.40pm timeframe to see where we are.

April 6, 2020 at 14:56 #29793Yes followed that … false for Ftse & Dax also.
Must grease that Ftse pole !

Sadly I will probably not get that 2630 zone by the 3.20/3.40pm timeframe, which is not good for me to find a trade.
Short Dax 10053
Short SPX 2603.4
as a first trade
