July 8, 2015 at 09:29 #14765Pleasure Anis.
Yes the Cruise was mindblowingly amazing. It was our first. The ship was the largest I saw in any port and just about had everything on board that one could imagine across its 19 decks.
The food was unlimited across 17 restaurants (all top class).
There were 4100 passengers on board and 1700 staff.
We were all completely taken away and we saw some amazing sights too inc. Pompei, climbed up to Mount Vesuvius, Rome Colosseum, lean tower of Pisa, Cannes, Palma Majorca, Barcelona and much more.
I strongly recommend a cruise to everyone and the younger you are the better!
However not all good news. Both myself and my wife were pickpocketed at the same time (we had no idea when or how) on the metro in Rome. We lost everything (ie 4 credit cards, all my USD, Euro’s and Pounds). The total blessing was that Navnit had 40 Euro’s in another compartment in her purse and that got us back.
We then had no money whatsoever buy luckily arranged emergency cash. It really put a dampner at the time and we spent most of Rome on the phone cancelling credit cards and trying (unsuccessfully) to organise emergency Cash. Therefore we missed seeing the Vatican, which was a bummer

I think Greece pollux will give us 2 way trading until Sunday, so happy to keep this long for now. If I need to play the short side also, I can do so (in conjunction with a hedge)
