Ftse opens in 10mins and I will be watching to see if
we manage a bounce which could start anywhere from
monday’s close down to 6750(in an ideal world) to
target a move back above 6800.Always be aware we are in the cit window and at
some point we are likely going down hard, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 08:15 #7798Ftse gone through 6750 which is a good sign for bears
as they are now getting more than they thought ๐Move stops.
Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 09:19 #7804Nice ย work Cimac ๐
I did about two weeks profit yesterday so keeping nimble so I don’t give it back.
Thats usually how it works for me….a good day then give it back and more over the next few days lol.
Im half way up to a two day conference at Stoke on Trent for work so will be nice to sit out for a bit and see where it goes.
I wonder if it’ll have a trip back out to stop out the shorters ?
Only position at the moment is a small short on Bonds.
Have a god day all.
September 23, 2014 at 10:05 #7805Cheers Billy.
Downside is good, a little earlier than expected, which
could be due to quad oe pushing the market up higher
than it wanted to go.A slight risk that 24th becomes an inversion, ie a ‘L’
rather than a ‘H’. This would be annoying.I think we need to see how the market behaves from
here into early thursday, to get a clear picture.A bounce into 24th then a hard drop would really
put my doubts to bed. Let’s see.Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 10:17 #7806Ftse 6662 zone would be a good place to bounce as
it seems to have a few ‘fib’ reasons to do so.Whilst the market is showing it’s hand keep
moving those stops to protect profits, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 13:40 #7807Ftse 6662 zone would be a good place to bounce as
it seems to have a few โfibโ reasons to do so.Went past that to 6650 so we await the US markets with short
stops tight as you like.Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 13:51 #7808That quick dip into 6640’s and bounce has me flat now.
Slight puzzle why Dax holds up better and we have to
see what the US does in rth.It would be odd for the Ftse lod to print now but
these are odd markets !Never give up, never surrender.
September 23, 2014 at 13:55 #7809closed some shorts too. better to see if we bounce or , if not ,ย add-back on a break below the low 1970’s.
Europe & US quite out of sync and US still technically in an uptrend .
September 23, 2014 at 14:41 #7810Yes baaa, better to play safe and hold onto hard earned profits.
As I can’t make a case for long or short, I will take a few
hours off and see where we are at the US close.Never give up, never surrender.
September 24, 2014 at 07:20 #7828Bit of a US washout into the close which could
set a move up in motion. I would prefer some
sort of rally through to today’s close and
will leave stocks until the picture clears.Very late lastnight I was trading gbp:nzd as
a way to hone my skills. I made a profit ๐Never give up, never surrender.
September 24, 2014 at 09:35 #7830Stock markets are quiet, too quiet, it’s when surprises
come and so makes trading a gamble. Stay away, imho.I expect, like me, many are wanting to know what that
late sell off in the US was about. Retail panic, is
the answer I hear, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
September 24, 2014 at 12:11 #7832Just incase (it’s a very low odds thing), that this market stall is
the pool filling phase of a waterfall decline. I have opened
a Ftse short using the smallest trade size that I ever use.Tiny risk to my account but would need 6100 to make me a
profit worth the name, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
September 25, 2014 at 07:18 #7870Yesterday as the Ftse went higher into the close and beyond
into ooh, I slowly increased my short so now it is much
nearer to my normal trading size. I will add the last
bit if we hit 6720 in rth.My stuff says the odds favour thursday and friday will be
down days, regardless of how they start. Well let’s see
how we get on with that prediction.Never give up, never surrender.
September 25, 2014 at 08:16 #7872Yesterday as the Ftse went higher into the close and beyond
into ooh, I slowly increased my short so now it is much
nearer to my normal trading size. I will add the last
bit if we hit 6720 in rth.Got the fill at 6720 so thats me set.
I will now give it the rest of the week to see
what the market wants to do.Never give up, never surrender.
September 25, 2014 at 09:54 #7873Took the profit on half after we did a drop and may
put the half back on if we hit 6720 again, fwiw.Slow day so will enjoy the sept sun.
Never give up, never surrender.
