I am busy thursday morning but will be back and
waiting to trade after the EcB news conference.

Many stock market charts indicate a strong move is due very soon.

It could cement my Ftse 6000 retest in the prefered timeframe
or delay it until next year !

Just a thought. If we are in a 4th down and we know these
waves can be very erratic. How about a big pop and drop
so that all the options are covered …. hooyah !

            Never give up, never surrender.

EcB press conference and US data at 13:30

Managed a few good trades early doors then went out and flat
now waiting to react if possible to any larger swings etc.

              Never give up, never surrender.

Well so far there were no Ftse moves that got me trading
so I am just going to relax and wait and see.

The only thing which could save Ftse bulls now is if the cit
comes early in this timing window ie less bearish.

Friday Monday Tuesday are must saves for the bulls else
we will see a retest of Ftse 6000 in this window, imho.

                  As usual take care

Ftse 6900 -> 6000 halfway point reached today.

Main reason is the market is just draining away 50pts and 100pts
at a time with no real support being seen.

We still have not seen any 100pt gaps down which you would
expect to see if we are to complete this move down in the
                    prefered timeframe.

                      Wow !!!

Amazing volatility. My oil long was over 200 pips out. It is now 280 pips off the low and in profit.

Spx is over 20 pips off the low.

I recall when I was stopped out long when spx dived to below 1880. It was back up over 50 pips in about a day’ I shorted 1940 and then it headed to new highs leaning me short and in pain !

We are still in a bull market so is this the bottom for now or just a pop for the next drop ?

I got out of shorts today, so will watch and wait for now. Remain long term long silver too.

We still have time for the Ftse to go lower as the window
has it’s mid point on 8th October.
If you wanted to throw a blanket over this cit window
then call it the first half of October.

Ftse retest of 6000 would answer important charting
questions and could well indicate if we are going
to 7000-7200 or 3500 and in which order.

On the s&p I can see why Dan cashed in his short
position, well played that man. Many will now
call for further upside but there is still
a test of the 1900 remaining.

As I said friday monday tuesday are key and
when they are done we will know a lot more.

                          Never give up, never surrender.

German public holiday so Dax traders get a rest which
could setup a gap on monday. Entry in notebook 😉

Ftse is 6500 as I type and it only gets exciting
if we break out of 6450 – 6550 so let’s see.

Markets are over sold but I doubt we have seen
                              the low for October.

                              Never give up, never surrender.

US numbers are not really that good as they show the
same picture as the UK, just more low paid jobs.

Lack of increase in household incomes so no driver
                                for stock market valuations.

Enough of this real world stuff, we are day traders.

Ftse 6558 is the absolute minimum bounce level for the bulls
to hit, bearing in mind the size of the recent falls, imho.

I will take that as my sandline for bullish above bearish
                                  below for now.

                                  Never give up, never surrender.
