October 25, 2019 at 17:04 #28085Dow … STD is S1 (?)
Not a surprise that delta is about as reliable
as waves and patterns … atm.Never give up, never surrender.
October 25, 2019 at 17:29 #28086Dow is looking S1H
Ftse and Dax have closed with a late S1 ‘h’ today.
I am surprised by this action.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 25, 2019 at 19:42 #28087Divergence between Dow and Nas / spx continues.
Never give up, never surrender.

then I would take all the profit.Never give up, never surrender.
October 25, 2019 at 22:46 #28090DJT: here’s an interesting chart of the Dow Transports. Just like DJIA and RUT the chart sports what looks like an important low followed by ‘wave 1 up’ which reacted from roughly where one would place the 38.2 fib and then fell to just about the 23.6 fib for wave 2. Or was that wave 2? Perhaps like RUT wave 2 continues… After what I thought was wave 2 DJT rallied sharply but then fell back just as sharply for a ‘double bottom’. Now it is rising sharply again. This latest rise looks like it might be a ‘five’ that has a target of exactly the 38.2 fib line at 10,865. I’ve marked this as another abc (for wave B). Even more interesting is that 0.618*A down from 10,865 hits the 10,000 ‘perfect’ point for wave 2. Of course if this pattern plays out it will likely affect my Dow analysis. Nobody knows what will happen, but it’s worth keeping an eye on that 10,865 point because a reversal from there will likely affect the other indices.
CAUTION: DJT shot upwards to 10,860 just 5 points short of the target at 10,865. Whether this 10,865 (or thereabouts) will be significant as shown on my chart remains to be seen.

If so (no guarantee) the target is around 27,036. It got to 27,015 or so and that *might* be enough. Or, it might be in a 4th and need a last pop upwards Monday.

Interestingly this pattern matches the possibility of a peak on the DJT.

These do not necessarily end the bull market trend, but they can indicate sudden 1-4 day declines.” The Bradley dates are Oct 31 (low) Nov 11 (high)
October 26, 2019 at 05:27 #28097The Dow is very near the descending upper trendline which is in the 27,030/50 area. This ties in with my earlier chart about a possible pop upwards to around 27,036.
The upper trendline is very valid because it has been touched four times.
This is interesting because it’s happening at the same time as SPX might be wanting a double top and DJT might want to touch it’s c=a.
Monday will be interesting for a potential low risk short opportunity with stops just above these important areas.

Dow A (or 1) & B (or 2) with C (or 3) to come has me in
the right ball park atm. Fingers crossed. With a normal line drop we could calculate potential C targets
but that would not work in that pattern.Plenty of things to watch over the coming days.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 26, 2019 at 11:54 #28100Dow STD timings have had odd values for the last
four days and now we see it was the market
straining to get to some sort of ‘h’.Never give up, never surrender.
October 27, 2019 at 03:34 #28101MSFT: in after market hours on Friday MSFT was marked up 2% due to the news of the Pentagon cloud services award worth potentially $10 billion over 20 years (although lower revenues in the shorter term).
MSFT is a large component of the Dow (and a lesser part of SPX). If the upwards break in MSFT is carried over in Monday trading, this could cause a spike upwards in markets possibly to the resistance lines I’ve mentioned and perhaps even through them.
This might all be a damp squib by the time analysts have had their say over the weekend, but still worth watching for.
