The size of the move from ATH down to 24th August lows and the
size of the current move up, should signal, trader beware.

      FMOC in 10 mins.

        SP500 looks interesting.

        S3H (normal) today.
        S4L thursday.

        S1? friday <bookends> S4? monday which happens
to cover last and first monthly trading days.

        hooyah !

Markets have echoed 2011 by holding the low(24th Aug this year)
and are positioned for a run up into Santa bonus party time.

FMOC in december could be a focal point.

Low interest rates continue to distort stock markets levels
and make them disconnect with the real economy.

It will all end in tears.

Yes it will end in tears, but where is it going first.

Another curious thing is that if cash gets into hyper inflation scenario, stocks, of certain types at any rate, will be preferable to cash. Would you prefer to own a stake in a factory that makes something of necessity, or hold depreciating cash? So in nominal terms where in such a scenario could SPX or FTSE go? They could double but still be worth massively less in real terms. Doesn’t help if you shorted it though….

Only a close above s&p 2100 and Ftse 6500 would
seal the recent rally and it would be best if
time wise, it was no later than monday.

Dan, as the Greeks found out during their crisis,
electronic cash can be turned off, then paper
money becomes rarer and rises in value.

Maybe in 2016 we find that having some gold
and silver and cash handy, will pay dividends 😉

Well so far the bears own the fri-mon bookend.

Which bearing in mind the action on wednesday and thursday
                  is quite a surprise.

Once again these markets show they are tough to trade.

If the s&p closes above 2100 then the bulls are in.

This weekend I will count my cash and be happy
not to be exposed to random newsflow 🙂
