Other than Ftse 6500 there are two more targets which
are of note at circa 6450 and 6600 if we are talking
about a retrace of the fall from the April high.Never give up, never surrender.
October 9, 2015 at 07:50 #17871We have three valid Ftse targets circa 6450 6500 6600.
Best odds count is the April high to Aug low was
a 1 or A down and we are now in 2 or B up with
a 3 or C down to come. This is the bear case.Bull case is the Aug low was it a la 2011 and we
grind back upto ath, early 2016.It’s October so anything is possible.
Never give up, never surrender.
October 12, 2015 at 10:00 #178812024/27 has been in view for a while . lightly short now & will add if we get nearer/on an early rally .probably wrong above 2040ish , so decent risk/reward .
on any dip , lis is the 1950s for the bull/bear .
October 19, 2015 at 17:12 #17993short now too
October 21, 2015 at 07:30 #18010We hit the first of our valid Ftse targets but since then
there have been few clues as to what comes next. All we have is the market tick tock which has a habit
of ending in a good move to resolve the count.Never give up, never surrender.
October 22, 2015 at 21:32 #18052whooa!somebody turn the taps on,this market is red hot..nearly 200 handles up in 3 weeks!
this is nuts when u actually think about it,but the charts dont lie.major overhead resistance lies just above, was yesterdays reset enough to catapoult it through?i would expect a decent leg lower to start by monday/tuesday at the latest but this thing is on steroids…October 23, 2015 at 10:12 #18056<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Bloody hope so!!…. 2040 resistance that baaa was talking about blasted thru and above the 200 moving average.. hopefully a backtest of 2040</p>
October 23, 2015 at 12:25 #18059China cuts rates!
October 23, 2015 at 12:42 #18063Thanks Gordon, how ya doin mate? Hope your shorts are not doing to much damage if you still have them. I can’t see this madness lasting too much longer.
October 23, 2015 at 13:39 #18066Good afternoon,
251 points off the August 24th low….motoring!!
Hoping this his closes negative somehow today…. Let’s see… Feels like it is boiling over…
October 23, 2015 at 14:27 #18067Not doing too bad thanks. Paps.. shorts hurting a bit but i can hold.
Whats views on the economy paps do u think we will stumble along or a another big dip?… to me they are just making the same mistakes all over again hence another depression like scenario!!
October 23, 2015 at 14:49 #18070Hi Gordon,
Don’t they ALWAYS make the same mistakes over and over? I agree, it looks glum, hard to say how long this market madness will last but I suspect it will be over sooner rather than later. The higher it goes the harder and faster it will fall when it does crack. Best of luck with the shorts, I’m flat currently. FTSE high today was a dozen or so points short of the 6500 target which is near enough to call it done. I will wait now to see if it really is done or wants a big higher.
October 28, 2015 at 00:00 #18109Interesting….
October 28, 2015 at 09:58 #18111Thanks Dan.
Maybe we do get the cleansing fire that destroys wealth.
If it’s, the more you have, the more you suffer, then
that would make a nice change.Stocks wise maybe we climb the wall of worry to get
to a higher diving board, jump off and look down
and see the water has leaked out 🙂Never give up, never surrender.
October 28, 2015 at 14:48 #18113big few days ahead – bears ideally need a close below 2046 this Friday.
on balance still favouring the top is in , but until we print 198x & below , doubt remains .
For now I’m staying long term position short . For today , I’d like to see a rally fail around 2073-6 and a crapout thereafter…
