Today’s talks on Crimea failed to resolve anything so now the focus is the vote itself and reaction to it.
If the vote is sunday, but when will the results be announced? Sunday? Monday?
If America and EU follow through with their sanctions threat, it could start to get ugly.
Lol I suppose if they vote to stay in Ukraine, the Russians have a problem, although it could be a way to solve the crisis… I think the vote will go Russia’s way though.
March 15, 2014 at 08:18 #5002Yes it will go Russia’s way because most of the peeps living in Crimea are Russian or of Russian descent.
March 15, 2014 at 09:20 #5003Result already agreed – not sure when it will be published tho!
March 15, 2014 at 21:22 #5006If it is a landslide pro Russia and the vote is “fair”, then Russia have a point…lol.
Gotta be more fair than voting for two identical parties every 4 or 5 years…lol
March 16, 2014 at 07:38 #5009Has the market priced in a YES vote. Why would it
not given that’s what most people seem to think
will happen. What the market does not know is the reaction to
a YES from outside and inside Crimea.I have no trades open but expect to be able to
short S&P and Ftse above friday’s hod, fwiw.Never give up, never surrender.
March 17, 2014 at 07:16 #5019A big test for Euroland ministers.
I expect the same weakness which was seen prior to WWI and WWII fwiw.
Atm the Dax is running higher so atleast we may get a chance to get
our shorts back on later this week.Never give up, never surrender.
March 17, 2014 at 09:51 #5024Lol put yourshorts bacmown now! Sunny outside 🙂
March 17, 2014 at 14:25 #5026Short S&P 1860.40
No surprise if we go above 1900 but I want something to
cover the downside.Never give up, never surrender.
March 18, 2014 at 11:50 #5039Wow, what’s this ramp all about? News?
March 18, 2014 at 12:17 #5040Fear in reverse really 😉
FMOC and quad OE just add spice to the cocktail.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 18, 2014 at 12:24 #5041No change to my bear plan … I want a chair for when the bull music stops.
DYOR and avoid all the talk.
One bit of advice is to use stops and play small trade size until we can
get a much better picture of this pattern, imho.Never give up, never surrender.
March 18, 2014 at 14:25 #5042Wall of worry springs to mind re the Ftse rally.
I will take a small short above 6600 even though
a run at 6650-6675 is possible this week. But then anything is possible this week.
Never give up, never surrender.
March 18, 2014 at 15:16 #5043Wow …. You have to love day trading 🙂
Never give up, never surrender.
March 18, 2014 at 15:47 #5044Those spikes usually get filled within days.
March 19, 2014 at 11:51 #5066Ftse spike on my chart is in that 6650-6675
zone I mentioned and I would short it fwiw.I closed all my short positions and with a
profit exceeding a loss, so happy.FMOC and quad OE …. UK budget will not
get my attention.Never give up, never surrender.
